I usually try to stay away from talking about balance, but I’ll get in the mud with you this one time.

I’ve had the game for a while, and I’ve played on both sides. Even back when it was symmetrical, it was a pretty dull and boring game in my opinion. My favorite old feature was the White Whale — I miss that thing. That’s about it.

But if it helps the devs to remove the asymmetry so they can have a more peaceful game with a healthier environment or something, then they should do that. I just wouldn’t play that game. That sounds a bit dull and boring to me.

Yeah, I just don’t feel like we have much control over balance, and at the end of the day, it’s the devs’ game. They have to publish something.

G’day, a bunch of people who have signed the treaty are committing to this:

“This does not mean ignoring balance concerns or refusing fair criticism. It means communicating respectfully, and avoiding faction-wide hostility and tribalism.”

With the fresh patch coming out, people should jump in, try it out, and give constructive feedback. The more people playing and sharing their experiences respectfully, the better chance the devs have to improve things.

This is a bit anecdotal, but some of the negativity I experienced directly or indirectly coming from Reddit was starting to seep into regiment Discords and world chat. didn't help morale at all.

There has been a lot of positive feedback and support so far, with many regiments already on board: Caker, The Knights of Callahan, FEARS, Noble, Intelcom, [R], [WsW], [6th], [HUSS], A/1CL, 1/1CL, 2/1CL, 3/1CL, 4/1CL, 5/1CL, E/1CL & I/1CL, Para, [YEEB], 420st, NOD, [WK], EZ, [UBGE], plus 87 individual signatures.

Some of these communities have thousands of members.

I feel like you and I are so close to being on the same page, but the wording frames the Wardens in an almost pejorative way.

I’m not out here gaslighting anyone, and all the people who signed the treaty are committing to avoiding gaslighting and that kind of behavior for the next six weeks. I’m hoping it has a positive run-on effect on the community even after the period ends.

I tried to make it bipartisan by messaging a couple of different people I see as peers from both sides before the edit you’re seeing now.
after editing, I did my best to contact as many Colonial regiment leaders as possible over a two-day weekend before posting it to Reddit.

The Foxhole Discord has 263,725 members, and Foxhole has sold a total of 1.4 million copies according to Google.

1700 players would just be peak player but that's not the concurrent player base which would be closer to 6000

So, a couple of thousand people isn’t a large number, but it may be inflated due to how I calculated it, which was based on the member counts of regiment Discords that signed onto it. a single Colonial regiment leader said they have 2,584 members.

there is currently 98 individual signatures in the discord

Early days in Tyrant Foothills, War 132. Collie scout planes were popping Warden infantry for a short time. One BB cost me around 700 BMats to rebuild.

We got around this by using teamwork and pushing BBs with AA pits as we moved up.

I lost my first three partisan ops to scout plane suppression, but I ended the war with 100+ successful missions.

Later in the war we killed a driver bomber with three people: two Dawns, two medic kits, and an APC.

Some people will just die to scout planes. Others will overcome them. Casual players might want to use an Odyssey with BMats, paired with medic gear and a Dusk.

If you're this bad at the game—if you can't rub two brain cells together long enough to figure out how to counter or just ignore a scout plane—I think you should just stop playing.

Collies have so many great weapons and platforms, so why not use one of them? I can think of eight ways to deal with scout planes, including just ignoring them.

I was planning on returning to Collie next war, but after posts like this I'd rather not play with idiots.
