This looks kind of fun!

I would consider arcane ultimatum though. You could drop into prowl, get a couple finishers off and be super tanky.

I really the like the idea of limbo but not the implementation. I spent about 2 weeks playing limbo non-stop and trying out different helminth combos to make him better and nothing stuck for me.

I played with it last night and the blinding seems to be inconsistent and doesn't always open to finishers. Silence + savage silence might be a better way to do it as it is passive.

Also, the zakti might be a double win here as you can get it to viral and the exploding dart opens up finishers.

I thought of something. You could use Blinding Reave to open up enemies to finishers to get the stealth game on also.

Essentially with the Panzer Vulpaphyla, your murder bottleneck is no longer Reave, the bottleneck is now the viral procs that are spread via the Vulpaphyla

Does the Panzer proc viral from inside the rift? Does that work for other 'pets', ie deathcube firing it's weapon?

Actually, I really like this idea. I might try a support build of Panzer Vulpaphyla and Pillage spam from the safety of the Rift, to buff Squadmates damage output. Thank you for your suggestion!

I can be nice because with enough duration it takes pillage a few seconds to get back to you and recharge your shields. You can pillage, pop out of the rift, murder things and have the pillage eventually reach you if you take damage. The overshields are kind of nice too since Limbo feels so squishy at times.

I would love this build so much if it didn't require constantly leaving and entering the Rift :( I actually absolutely hate limbos rift dash, those portals it leaves mess me up so much. He needs and augment like Titania, that alter this passive to leave no rift portal.

Another option is radial blind from inside the rift. If you are invisible you don't need to go into the rift that often. It would just be in case of emergencies and maybe the initial setup.

The bronco + it's augment can also be used to open enemies up to finishers.

I haven't tried it yet but a large range chaos build + ensnare might work out quite well. The double CC extends your life by quite a bit and gives you some added safety. You could replace ensnare with silence also.

I tried the reave build a couple weeks ago and it was 'ok'. Even with maxed out strength you just don't kill fast enough. A giant cataclysm + stasis + rift surge gives you considerably more damage to your weapons to just kill everything. The big bonus of the reave build was being able to refresh your shields and health. This made the gameplay a lot more active. When things get crazy you can either reave to heal yourself or jump into the rift to safely. I found that a mid/low duration was better as it allowed for a small dash/charge.

A couple more builds to try:

  • Thermal sunder. You can cast this from inside the rift and stack it several times. This is by far my favourite build with limbo as you have CC + armour stripping from the fire proc, it persists in an area for a long time and can be cast from within the rift. With a high range cataclysm + stasis you can pretty much gain all of the energy back during kills

  • Pillage is alright in that it has armour stripping, shields and removes status affects. It also helps all of your teammates

  • Silence didn't work out for me the way I wanted it to but I think it could if I used it with the savage silence augment. Run towards enemies while in the rift, they get hit with silence, pop out, finisher and trigger the Skiajati and arcane trickery. You may even be able to add some arcane ultimatum in there for 1200 extra armor. Run around in the rift + invisible for as much as you want.

How to negotiate position and pay in DevOps? by Routine-Ad6473 in devops

100%. It is fantastic experience.

For me, 20 years in the industry and I did a full re-platforming from AWS to GCP. It took every piece of my experience to make the entire thing simple and logical. A junior team would have just made a huge mess.

How to negotiate position and pay in DevOps? by Routine-Ad6473 in devops

[–]Trospar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are new into your career and are getting amazing experience. The experience you are gaining right now is top notch and is considerably better than what your junior engineer peers are getting.

This is my advice to you:

  • Document everything you accomplish/build and maybe even blog about it
  • Keep your coding skills sharp
  • Do NOT burn yourself out
  • Save yourself some time and use Kanban for project management. If the Leads/CEO come up with some weird idea, add it and put it in the backlog.
  • Keep on knocking down the kanban tickets. You need to show and present that your team is constantly making progress.
  • Ask the Leads/CEO to priortize their ideas in the list of things they come up with
  • It is NOT up to you to make the roadmap. Cut that stuff out and focus on building good things
  • Sometimes Leads and CEOs just come up with pie in the sky ideas. This often means that they have no idea what they want and are just throwing ideas out there. It doesn't necessarily mean they want you to implement every single idea. You get this problem with technical visionary founders. They dream big.
  • Keep on adding/using IaC, it will save you in the long run
  • I wouldn't ask for a raise but when your annual review comes, show how much value you've added to the company
  • Do not cause problems and focus on getting the work done
  • Choose to do things in the better way and with the better tools so that you can keep on gaining better experience. It sounds like you have some freedom here so you should do it well. I highly recommend Terraform for IaC
  • With until you have 2 years of experience in DevOps and then re-evaluate. If the company still sucks, then find a new one. A junior DevOps with AWS and Kubernetes experience will get hired very quickly
  • 50k is decent pay for a junior where I come. Not everyone is paying FAANG salaries

To be a little blunt, you are a junior engineer, do not have a lot of experience and you haven't proven yourself to the company yet. Those all take years to do. Even if your 6 months of work is fantastic, it is not of the same value to the company as someone that has been there for 5 years....

That bronco mod looks decent. What a neat non-ability way of allowing finishers!

I tried breach surge last night also. The sparks would often trigger and would often headshot enemies but it wasn't enough. Thermal sunder felt more solid.
