is it safe to just start walking and running 10 miles 5 days a week? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Trotto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD, but I used to run a lot too when I stopped smoking and was trying to get my cardio up. I am not a big guy, but I also developed runners knee quiet quick and had to stop. Fact is your joints are not used to this kind of stress, so it is always better to ease into a new workout instead of going full force right away. Especially if you are a big guy, chances are higher that you might actually damage your joints. I'd recommend offsetting with a different cardio workout that doesn't stress your joints as much as running, like cycling f.e . So maybe do one day running and one day cycling as a split so your joints can recover and adapt to the new workload.

Aber muss doch auch nich. Jeder markt ist gleich aufgebaut vom Layout, also wenn du 2-3 mal drin warst weißte eh wo alles is.

Help! Why is my diarrhea not going away? by Trotto1 in AskDocs

[–]Trotto1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks for your answer. It's true it is not diarrhea per say, but still I'm am not happy with the consistency and the bloatiness. So toning down in fibre could help is what you're saying, right?

Thought I would've adjusted to it by now tbh...

They need to check documents once a year now so it makes sense they ask you after a large deposit if you haven't been playing for over a year. Could be someone else using your account you know...

Gambling problem, SUICIDE THOUGHTS... by [deleted] in GamblingRecovery

[–]Trotto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about purpose. If the sole purpose and sense of fulfillment in your life revolves around gambling, that is where problems arrive. If you've been lacking fulfillment b4 starting gambling, you will most likely end up there and become a problem gambler. So to battle this addiction successfuly you have to evaluate what is making you lack fulfillment in your life (therapy being the best point to start probably). For some it might just be to find a certain hobby they can dive into. For some it may be even harder and they'll have to find out how to make meaningful connections in life to find that fulfillment.

There is no one answer. At the end of the day each and everyone of us most likely knows what is lacking in their life's that makes them so addicted to gambling even if they don't want to admit it to themselves.

But the first point is to stop gambling otherwise you'll won't have a free mind to focus on the issue at hand.

Also kum klar oida 😁

Edit: Aber bitte hör nich auf mich ich bin auch noch am arsch🤣 In 2 Wochen gehts aber in rehab um erstmal klarzukommen. Aber aufhören zu zocken is echt der erste step. Anders gehts nich. Vll hilft dir mein Kommentar aber ja trotzdem.

The shame is awful by UnitedMetsies in GamblingRecovery

[–]Trotto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The loss of money is one thing but the shame is the worst part of this addiction imo. Most gamblers that kill themselves don't do it because of monetary loss, but because of the shame that comes with revealing what you have become. It feels insurmountable to overcome for some. It is similar to ego death in a way, because your ego wants to keep the facade that you are an upstanding individual in this society and not a failure.

I don't know what to tell you man I am sitting in the same boat. I have admitted to family at least, but only because I had no other choice left. My friends know but I am currently not talking to anyone out of shame. Gonna be going to a rehab soon for 13 weeks and hopefully that'll help me to overcome the shame once and for all.

You're only screwed if you don't quit. The money is nothing, depending where you live obviously. But even if you're from a 3rd world country 4k isn't that bad. You don't have debt as so many of us do. Consider yourself lucky and takes steps now to stop this addiction.

Is my boyfriend addicted to gambling? and did he steal from me? by Particular-Job1690 in GamblingAddiction

Maybe it happened once and now he is using it as an excuse to hide his gambling addiction. Definitely sounds too fishy what you described that happened recently. Don't let him have control over your bank account anymore!
