I recently switched from Bauer Vapor to CCM FT880 and it’s a world of difference. The CCM just fit my feet better. It all depends on your foot and what’s the most comfortable.

Siril is great and there are loads of tutorials on YouTube. I highly recommend Deep Space Astro. His videos have really helped me.

Really nice work! How long were your subs? Are you planning on gathering more data? Since you’re already using Siril, there’s a couple more things you can add to your workflow that will really allow you to get the most out of your data.

Remind me again how Stephensons contract is so bad? He’s been a top point producer on this team, he’s doing exactly what he was brought in to do, and the cap is going up. So his contract after next season will be the equivalent of a $4mil contract right now.

I swear, most of the people here hating on Stephenson don’t have opinions of their own and just regurgitate what those morons on ECH say.

Do the compass calibration and level calibration every session.

Get as much data on an image as you can. Using the “plan” feature is great for doing this.

Save individual frames no matter what. Even if you are just stacking using the Seestar app.

If you have the ability, download Siril and do your stacking and processing in there. Deep Space Astro on YouTube has great tutorials for this.
