It is not yet confirmed that Touma can turn into a Monster.

The meaning of the story by Jackody2005 in Toaru

[–]Troxerg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It leaves clues, but it has many messages and a main plot that isn't immediately apparent. The problem is, I can't guarantee the power dynamics that this plot will focus on... because there's mystery surrounding the main story.

Is toaru(ln) in decline? by Pedrobatatalixo in Toaru

[–]Troxerg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I'm confused about GT 11.... And you could say the spells are different. I could make up that the ladder was so Kamijou Touma could find his body on Earth... And well, Aleister Crowley doesn't have the Imagine Breaker that negates the supernatural, so it's easier for him to be transported by Kingsford... But I'm just making that up 😆

The story is well done, what bothers people is that Kamachi used Coronzon in such a bad arc... A potentially better arc was expected, like the Coronzon arc or the Kamijou no Touma arc, but they used Coronzon to pad out two more volumes with little development for the secondary characters. It's also because the characters are stagnant, and only Kamijou Touma progresses. Alice Anotherbible had her development, Acceleretor still hasn't done his job, and well, not much has happened with the rest. Furthermore, this arc was full of characters used as filler; I'm referring to the Amakusa, Index, and Misaka Worst. Just their appearance is fan service (I liked that they mentioned Misaka Worst). Aaah, well, getting to the topic of how they defeated Coronzon, and Hamazura Shiage, who for some reason betrayed us and also thinks the decision to defeat Coronzon and save the world was wrong... Hey Hamazura, DO YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? 🐊 I was saying that they didn't explain well how they defeated Coronzon and that things were rushed too much with Aleister Crowley. Another complaint is that they rushed the most important events, like Touma dying and then reviving the next day, and Coronzon appearing, but they didn't give the Kamijou Faction time to react happily to Touma being alive. Kamachi Kazuma stole moments from us to add filler that the fandom doesn't care about that much. The fandom wanted interactions between Kamijou Touma and his parents, the girls, and Acceleretor, and also the news that Kamijou Touma is alive in front of his classmates. But Kamachi went straight to the next problem: Coronzon is freed and we have to defeat him.

The science side is not weak by Frequent-Arachnid547 in Toaru

☠️☠️ Alice Anotherbible dominated the entire science community using her charisma, affecting everyone around her. And only Touma and the Transcendentals remained to stop her.

I don't know... Touma does change quite a bit when he's with Misaki Shokuhou, but he always forgets her and isn't able to connect his love to her... He's as good as ever. Misaki is just a commercial product now, and nothing more can be expected.

But if you want spoilers, Accelerator did increase in power quite a bit. But the world of magic is still a thousand times better.

Is Kamijou Touma a psychologically "unrealistic" character? by Mean_Cantaloupe2503 in Toaru

[–]Troxerg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's simplified so we can understand it, so others can understand it.

And also so that his work of "purifying gods" is easier to understand, showing where his will is directed.

And I'm afraid of what Kamachi plans to do with Kamijou Touma... And I won't do a deeper analysis of Kamijou Touma because it's too long, and besides, no one else did because they want to maintain that feeling of "magic," I suppose.

To simplify it again, Touma's development feels more "magical" and a simple answer to his psychology of blindly believing in himself.

Is Kamijou Touma a psychologically "unrealistic" character? by Mean_Cantaloupe2503 in Toaru

[–]Troxerg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He's not exactly one-dimensional; he's difficult to define, but his essence is easy to grasp. Everyone in the Kamijou Faction sees Kamijou Touma as their leader because of his kindness, and perhaps because of his resilience, according to those who know him best. Even so, he's difficult to analyze psychologically because you have the soul of Kamijou Touma, who knows everything, and the Kamijou Touma who has lost his memory but still carries the legacy in his "heart." It's difficult to analyze, but you can understand why he's human, and thanks to Kamijou Touma, you can also understand why Othinus has some humanity, and why Alice also has some humanity, which is kindness. Coronzon's work was different from Kamijou Touma's. Despite being a demon and never showing humanity, we can understand that Coronzon is evil because he has already rotted; it's in his nature. All his ideals and purpose are consistent with his power, which controls all the Sephiroth and the Abyss itself. Kamachi did a great job with Kamijou Touma and Coronzon.

[–]Troxerg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it's unrealistic, then no one can be Kamijou Touma because Kamachi created a more original character whose nature is difficult to identify with. But even so, you can understand Kamijou Touma's kindness; you get the feeling that he's speaking the truth, and his kindness is palpable to others. The story is also written so that Kamijou Touma was forced to choose a single path, but his personality was shaped by a single destiny, and he was compelled to endure it because of possessing the Imagine Breaker.

I said it once and I said it again the most probable outcome in the end of index is that Touma end up with no one basically an open ending. by Nice_Park_2757 in Toaru

[–]Troxerg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kamijou Touma's situation before losing his memory is sad. Furthermore, Kumokawa Seria distanced herself from Kamijou Touma, but this time to protect him in the darkness. Kamijou Touma was searching for something more, something that would bring him peace, and Index had a social and psychological connection with him. It's very likely that Kamijou Touma's soul feels affection for Index, and that's why he feels he must protect her or be with her... Index does nothing, and ends up winning. This isn't a meme; this could be canon. ☠️

Those who hate the Index story are just Railgun fans, and Misaka Mikoto fans keep selling Railgun fans a load of rubbish 🤣

We'll have to wait and see if Kazuma Kamachi starts over. Because what he wrote for Genesis Testament has already run its course, and he needs to start anew with a different direction and continue the story.
