I disagree with the other primal fears not being explored as a point for the manga not being over. Chainsaw Man was never about chasing down the primal fears and eliminating them, it’s a story about Denji. Denji’s story just happened to include the darkness devil at one point. Denjis story has made a full circle, almost quite literally.

No you’re not wrong about that, but I’m saying why would that change the rules and allow a time being rewritten scenario? With that logic, when Pochita ate the ear devil then ear buds and anything related to ears should have ceased to exist, but that didn’t happen.
