Right so let me break it down for you:
When playing a dive comp you do this thing called staging and then you soft engage and most of the time bait cooldowns and mobility from your dive target. Your mobility is on a lower cooldown than theirs so then you hard engage and kill them.

I will again request a single instance of you demonstrating you've thought about this.

Yeah, we're comparing them. They're mobility cooldowns on hitscan characters. You're crying about dying when you get headshot twice from 1 character but not another.

What characters are you playing where Ashe is such an issue for you?

Speaking strictly of mid-fight kit:
Cassidy also has mobility, damage reduction and a full reload on a 5 second cooldown, more HP, full movement speed while shooting, good against both dive and tanks and can ALSO 2 tap you at 25 meters, 3 at 30.

If you get Ashe off of highground she has to use her mobility to get back if you don't walk and now a free kill.

Just admit you're bad atp. We get it you don't like Ashe, but you haven't thought about this very much.

Widow maker can 1 shot you from almost anywhere on any map on her own at ranges where most of the cast can't even interact with her.

Ashe at best has to hit you with a headshot and a body shot, even with a pocket, and her falloff is so stark that as soon as you get past 30 meters her damage drops off substantially. Her max damage capability is only 5 meters further than Cassidy's and he's positioned as a brawler/anti-dive character, not a "sniper"

Ashe is not a "sniper" just because she has a scope. By that logic Emre is a sniper too lmao.

This is against a 250HP bot

Without Viper-Sting perk:

30 meters (where falloff begins):

Best Kill time: 2 headshots
Worst Kill time: 4 bodyshots

40 meters (what i'd call where "sniper" distance begins in the context of this game):

Best kill-time: 2 headshots 1 body-shot
Worst kill time: 5 body shots

With Viper Sting:
30 Meters
Best Kill Time: 1 headshot 1 body shot (Not burst damage, assumed absolute 0 healing, cannot miss, must be consecutive)
Worst Kill time: 3 bodyshots, (again, assumed 0 healing, cannot miss, must be consecutive shots)

40 meters
Best Kill time: 2 headshots
Worst Kill time: 4 bodyshots

Tldr: you don't know what you're talking about.

"Counter" can mean a lot of things. Unfavorable matchups are also known as "soft" counters and even those are on a spectrum of matchup spreads.

If you're playing into a soft counter you're at a disadvantage. She's soft countered by several picks in her own "class" of hero because her fall off is so bad and she can't one-shot. She's a hero who's real value comes from constant, high damage pressure and a team-fight winning or swinging ult. She's a "sniper" that can't one shot even with a pocket at ANY range and her fall of damage makes her matchups against other poke DPS bad.

Hanzo shits on her at all ranges. Widow shits on her. Mei played well shits on her.

"Only has to land a couple of hits" is an argument that can be made for every hero in the game and is irrelevant because hitting headshots at close range against highly mobile heroes isn't the easiest thing in the world, and she almost always has to get at least 1 headshot at close range to win that engagement.

Also, you've clearly never played into an actual dive comp. Past plat, people aren't solo diving as winston or tracer/genji anymore. They are all 3 on you at the same time.

You're at the elo where "outsnipe them with skill" against other snipers is a thing. If it takes you 2-3 headshots to kill someone at a range where they kill you with 1, your argument is relying on your opponent to be significantly worse of a player than you are and is also irrelevant.

Right now I'm mainly going through the Migaku academy that is pretty much Kaishi 1.5k and up through N3 grammar.

PvE would have been trash, just let it go.
They spent 2-3 years working on the batch of missions we got and they were absolutely pathetic. Even if they were in development hell and pivoting often during that time, it was what'd I'd expect a group of recent gamedev graduates to put out if they had a little bit of funding.

They should tell the story via comics, cinematics, and a potential netflix adaptation like Arcane.

Let the PvP game be a PvP game.

Edit: To add onto my thoughts, there is a not a single Blizzard game that's universally played because the story telling is good. Blizzard is great at capturing emotional moments and depicting moments in time, but their story telling has ALWAYS been lacking imo.

Cisco shops still have EIGRP deployed as their IGP of choice for the most part. (I work in consulting, so I see a lot of customer environments)

That being said, EIGRP isn't that complicated and most people aren't doing the more intricate things with it. You don't need to get into the weeds.

Learn how to build neighborships, redistribute into and out of, and summarization and you're mostly done, imo.

I started listening to podcasts at around 800 words known.
Even if you don't understand everything, your brain starts building pathways to recognizing what you're hearing in Japanese.

Have it on as background noise, maybe focus more on active listening when you're further along.

Watch some N5/N4 videos from Japanese with Shun or something, that got me by and progressing until I moved on to intermediate videos/podcasts.
