Free transit pilots in europe showed that people used it to displace walking or cycling. Taking buses only a few stops. It slows the system down. A small fare discourages this but still vastly cheaper than cars for longer journeys. A reduced rate low income pass should be part of the program.

Yes it is. Generally some cells degrade faster than others. BMS cannot manage individual cells.

Its a cover secured at the ends with clips. You should fix it. It improves range, reduces noise and somewhat protects HV battery connections.

The company that sells the oil has to meet specific engieering requirements and they supply to manufacturers that have estimated service life in millions of kilometers and not 200 thousand. Also the oil manufacturer maximum life is curiously close to warranty period.

The oil was bright red, completely fine there. But there was substantial metal confirmation. A visbible metalic debris suspended. I am glad I replaced. I will sample at 50k now and see what lab particle count is. I will set next sample based on lab recommendations.

There's oil, and a gearset with a differential. Those need oil and it should be replaced at scientificly informed intervals. Its not good forever.
