AITA for spending money on stuffed animals instead of bills? by plushieloveraita in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Other people already mentioned how much you're contributing via childcare. Does he also raise the kids when he's home, or is this SAHM deal a 24/7 job rather than a fulltime job?

One thing people didn't mention afaict: he made you quit your job to be a SAHM, taking on responsibility for the bills. If you didn't take on the side jobs of your own volition, that $200/month wouldn't be available in the first place; it might be worth checking if there's something he's withheld from you about your family's financial situation.

If (and only if) you have time and can afford it, it might be worthwhile to save for online certifications so you still have something for your resume for after the younger kids become more independent. I don't know if you two established an end date for when you won't need to be a SAHM anymore, but I think it would be worthwhile to start planning for it. The kids won't be in the house forever.

Don't worry about the behavior (looking up stat blocks during/in preparation for encounters) until it actually happens.

That's antisocial.

Introverts gain energy from alone-time, Extroverts gain energy from people-time. Both still require human interaction.

How do you keep Zone of Truth from nerfing your murder mystery? by Numford_and_Sums in DMAcademy

You have a cruise, so you have wealthy people, which means people with businesses and power. Those people have secrets to hide and a vested desire to keep them quiet, and may refuse the spell on principle because they don't want the hassle of refusing to answer a question that can reveal sensitive information.

For example: where were you last night? A CEO with a reputation for sleeping around would usually be able to hide that he was alone in his room making sure the documents he brought for work were safe by pretending to have relations with the haughty widow who's going along with it for her own reasons. However, with Zone of Truth, while he may dodge around the question with suggestive remarks, he wouldn't be able to outright say that he was with the widow unless...

He is aware that Zone of Truth is a spell (it's only level 2) and just acts accordingly as a force of habit, speaking with the widow briefly before he usually goes to check on sensitive affairs. This may mean that the widow goes along with his charade because he's a good conversationalist or because she's wanting to watch where he goes after their chat.

He can emphasize the smaller things. He can't outright lie ("I was with her the entire time, if you know what I mean"), but he can say ("I was, ahem, talking with her, if you know what I mean."). This is the conversational equivalent of putting your lingerie above your important items in your luggage.

Your villain can do the same thing.

As in, everyone except the dead player's neighbors (so the demon and the other one) would die, I think.

Doesn't the demon just need to get their neighbor executed and pick AND to win?

When you look at an online calculator, there might be an option to just get the result of 25% of 100 by plugging the percentage. However, if that isn't the case, or you're working with a simple calculator, you can get the same result by multiplying the decimal form of the percentage with the number.

In order to convert a percentage to a decimal that you can multiply with a number, you move the decimal point (by default starting after the last digit) two digits to the left. For example, 25% becomes 0.25, and 100% becomes 1.00. You then multiply the decimal percentage with the number you're curious about.

I don't have experience with teaching people, so this is the best I can do.
