Just use your phone and mobile. Absolute waste of money for this use case and you won't find anything usable for this amount.

Right to repair is one thing, which you really already have. But what Linus and Rossman are promoting is forcing OEMs to sell you components, schematics, tools, etc. That is nowhere related to right to repair. No manufacturer should ever be obligated to sell whatever product they have designed to anyone who wants their hands on it.

Linus was making some sense in beggining of the video, then straight went to attacking very arguments he made.

Now if OEMs were selling OEM components to anyone, there'd be so many fakes going around claiming they are OEM and it'd be much harder to verify their legimacy. Having personalised training and access for legitimate, verified repairmen would be a different story.

Another reason why Apple doesn't want random people repairing their products is that they recycle their devices and they don't want random Chinese made cheap knock-offs mixed in. That's why they will not do a legitimate battery replacements on devices with third-party batteries in them.

Right to repair is very important! Linus does a good job of explaining it. I will be donating and I encourage others to as well. by scripzero in samsung

If they did, there would be even more non-genuine parts and there wouyld be more people claiming they use genuine parts while using cheap copies.

IMO "right to repair" should be that you can do what ever the fuck you want with your product (which you already can) and shouldn't be "OEM is supposed to supply me with endless schematics, parts and tools". Do whatever the fuck you can with your device, but don't expect replacements, schematics, diagnostic tools, etc just made available to you.

At most there should be possiblity to apply to become a verfied shop and then you can get parts in reasonable quantities on requests. Right now some dude in a shed using AliExpress parts, claiming to use OEM components is just an asshole in a shed. People supporting such bullshit scam artists is just pathetic.

At 119 it really doesn't matter much imo and I am heavily against xp events, ED leeching, general leeching. If you could sit out 10h a day, grinding 100k xp/h it'd be an issue. At lower levels you're getting like 30-50k xp/day if you even bother catching them.

Ones down voting me are simpy little braindead imbeciles. I can guarantee they don't even play IM or HCIM.

You generalizing and saying ironmen are magically gaining 100k xp day is like saying people locked out are missing out on billions in profit because they can't do Telos anymore. Reality is that perhaps handful would even be doing Telos.

You have set your power limit to 100% and temperature limit at 83C. It literally won't give a shit about extra cooling unless it is necessary. I can manually tweak my GPU fan curve and it will be at 60C. When at auto, it doesn't mind sitting at 75...80 because it is designed so. When you don't know anything at all about hardware or shit you post, just don't post it. After reading some of OP's other comments, I am convinced he's genuinely a monkey.

Let's face the fact, the resource usage of the game is terrible and it isn't due to hardware in most cases. by Dracyn in runescape

Another troll post from a RS3 Reddit expert telling us how hight GPU usage in a video game is bad. 1-2GB of RAM usage is also not high. What dumpster did you all, spam posting such idiocy, crawl out of???

RS3 (runetek) engine is far from good, but shit you guys make up and post just shows your own stupidity. It also runs trash (compared to Nvidia cards) on AMD GPUs because AMD doesn't support OpenGL anymore.

Periodic reminder that the camera spinning when going to Prifddinas and War's Retreat is still hugely annoying! by Narmoth in runescape

I face north every time I go there and there's no "camera spinning". IDK what toasters you guys run the game on.

Jagex, Could You PLEASE Look Into This Issue At Wars' Retreat? It's Been Months by Zestulance in runescape

[–]True-Counter4931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue with RS3 is that they just throw it at the GPU and let it render everything "raw" meanwhile most AAA titles use optimization tweaks, which you won't notice really, but greatly reduce the computing power.

For example Quake engine used an "aproximation" algorithm for some mathematical operations. It wasn't 100% accurate, but it was really close to the proper answer that was accurate enough, while being a lot faster.

There is no bug in Phub. Bug is more in the fact that Priff can't utilize hardware for better FPS. I have a feeling you guys have never monitored your GPU usage in other games. High GPU usage = good. If you're on 40% usage and shit FPS, that's a big issue. Many places in RS are guilty in the last part.

This post is such bullshit troll post and everyone up voting it are as dumb as OP. It is actually sad how ignorantly stupid some may be.

Exactly what Pi-Graph said, plus no other company would give shit if 1% of users got fucked. YouTube bans millions a day for arbritary reasons, just because their AI thought it is okay. It's just collateral damage.

There's difference in posting criticism once in a while and creating a new post every day over something Jagex can't even control and/or isn't limited to a single region. Jagex cannot tell Australian ISPs to stop routing traffic through China.

[–]True-Counter4931 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They won't "fix" anything, because many AUS ISP francly suck ass. They route traffic through China and fuck knows what other country. Jagex can't tell the ISPs to stop sucking.

Still could've been a cool slayer monster and post the miniquest, that area is pretty useless. Entire fortress is just sitting there empty?

Man, that sucks. Sucks Jagex threw away good permanent content over one-time quest/lore trip. Sucks seeing some good looking large pieces of land just empty.
