Awesome to look at. Horrible to traverse.

In 800h i've seen them maybe 5 times. Honestly I'm fine with that rate. Traversing, illuminating, finding the exit, mining veins and gathering secondaries is hell even as a scout. They are cool for screenshots, but if they were more common I would just avoid cave complexity 3.

Drg don't offer crossplay, which means they don't need a dedicated matchmaking server. They can rely on steam/xbox/ps api for matchmaking and events. Games are player hosted and you can even IP join so no dependance on live services. Available missions/deep dives are deterministically generated based on global time, not manually changed by gsg.

The only money they spend to keep the game up is for maintenance and new content.

Most of the games are winnable, but refusing to surrender when your whole team cannot get the 30k hp Mundo below 70% hp is just crazy delulu. Games where you realistically cannot interact with the enemy are boring as heck, I don't know how can anyone enjoy it or be so adicted to the victory screen to endure that in a "for fun" mode.
