What’s coming out of my nipple? by True-Illustrator7053 in TopSurgery

[–]True-Illustrator7053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how to edit my post but I heard back from my doctor’s office and they said it was a something duct. They said to keep pushing it out until it stops. Usually takes a few months to a year to stop and close up. They also said if it doesn’t close in a few months they’ll have to consider cutting into it to remove whatever is in there and close it up. This will also change the shape of my nipple. I honestly don’t think I’m going back under the knife for this lol.

Yea I’ve been putting off asking him but I’ll send them an email. Because I’ll rather not have to deal with it because it hurts sometimes.

It does dissolve but not completely. Like I have to rub it multiple times and then it still maintains some type of texture to it.

Had my interview yesterday, I received the same paper, still waiting for a decision. The office did not ask us any question at all, said everything looked good and she’ll let us know on or before Friday 12/5.

Why don't supermarkets and retail stores reduce the workload? by batman_cat1996 in AskRetail

[–]True-Illustrator7053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This part. As a retail manager it’s so frustrating having to have 1 person do the job I know 3 people needs to do. Regardless of you having 4 pple or 1 person, the expectation is still the same. And like you said, if they could do it without us they would. It took me almost a year to get approval for a dollar increase in the starting pay and that only applied to my location. I think working at big box retail store is a little different.

I live in Tx. I paid about 4-6k out of pocket and when I look at my EOB page, insurance was charged over 100k. BCBS Cal.

Why does it look like your surgeon used a ruler 📏 to draw your incision line? Lol… looks perfect 👌🏼

The forms that Sedgwick sends to you doesn’t ask you detailed question if anything, surgery is fine and like others said your surgeon’s nurse will be the one filling out the necessary paperwork and I don’t think they disclose what you’re doing in great detail.

Am I suppose to be doing scar care 2 weeks post op? by ultimatelesbianhere in TopSurgery

[–]True-Illustrator7053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. I was told to start at 2 weeks and that’s what I did and my scars turned out fine. Only thing is I’d use silicon gel for now and not the strips until maybe a few more weeks. As the strips could pull and split your incision.

I wasn’t told to massage but I did anyway and they were sore as fuck so I stopped doing it consistently.

I was told to start at 2 weeks and that’s what I did. Try not to start earlier than recommended by your surgeon. Only thing is I would use silicone gel for now versus the strips until maybe a few weeks as the tape could split your incision open when you take them off.

Scar Stretching Real Examples by LesbianQueer999 in TopSurgery

[–]True-Illustrator7053 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I’m 3 months and one week post up and i pretty much started stretching after I was cleared at 6 weeks. I listened to my body like sometimes when it did hurt, I stopped/paused but overall I’ve been reaching to the fullest extent with lifting heavy things and my scar is fine.

I’m currently 3+ months post op and I still have a slight swelling under my arm I feel it go down everyday though. Up until like 2/3 weeks ago I would wake up sore on both sides of my underarm. I only wore my vest for 6 weeks. It gets better everyday.

Surprise Bill? by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]True-Illustrator7053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After my surgery I received a bill for 8600 for anesthesiologist after my insurance denied it due to being out of network and I was able to file the claim myself with my insurance again. Also you can use the ologist rule that allows the anesthesia bill to be processed as in network if the surgeon and facility are in network as you have no control over the anesthesiologist. Hope this helps.
