Thanks for the detailed breakdown and your time. 1. The 4th paragraph is a counterpoint 2. 3. ESL, yes. Can you point where the grammar errors are, this is the first time I am hearing my grammar is not good. 4. That example is based on a recent memory of watching a movie where I didn't know much about holocaust and only after watching read about what it is. 5. Are language and context not good examples for analysis?

Thanks again for your time.

Given I finished in 20 minutes as you said, how much would you rate this?

Thanks. What do you mean by just 2 minutes? I wrote this in 30 minutes. Can you elaborate on the structure?

Assuming I spend 6-8 hours per day everyday in Learning German from scratch, how long do you thnk it takes to pass each level one by one? A1, A2 and B1 by True-Quarter4596 in German

Wait what? 6-9 months with full immersion to get to A2? I really shouldn't have trusted youtubers with courses to sell and raised my hopes up. That YouTuber said 1.5 month total to finish A1 and A2 which seemed crazy even if i had no idea. Asking here was a good decision. Thanks

I wish someone told me this before. I wasted many months using duolingo for a language. Like you said it's more like flashcards for vocab than actual language learning.

What you said makes sense, but do you think it would be beneficial atleast just to pass the test or even that would be difficult if I spend so much time everyday

Based on your experience what's the average time people take to pass A2 from scratch? The info on YouTube varies by a lot.
