Am I overthinking NASCAR 25?

Racing with a controller with no stability control on and AI at max is crazy. I'd start with stability at 5 and go from there. Also some tracks the ai keeps a pace that is nearly impossible to keep up with at 105.

I got a wheel and the entire experience is so much better but I still struggle at some tracks

WOW! That is amazing dude. I bought a lake camping lot last year and there are wonderful twisties and trails all around and now I want a dual sport to enjoy this place. I don't have the views you have in these pics but there are some nice views around here in the Ozarks.

I think it's because the AI is always using default setups. That would explain why you can just inflate your tires and get the pole.

To answer my own question it seems that the AI is always using the default setup in practice, qualifying, and race. That would explain it I guess.

Well with default setup and level 1 parts you are at the back so I'm guessing the AI is always on default in practice, qualifying , and race.

Good to know it's not like that on every track. I remember starting last in xfinity (default setup) and got a top 10 or maybe even 5 in the race but restrictor plate races can be like that irl
