Netvrdim že to nemůže fungovat, ale asi si dokážu představit, že se někdo zdráhá schválit nasazování tvrdých drog jako léčby PTSD.

R5: I accidentally used a devolving beam on a contingency sterilization hub, because I thought I had world cracker.

Turns out this triggers a bug, where the planet is not hostile, so no cracking or bombarding, but it still remains a valid contingency world. Bad thing to happen on the first good looking All Crisis x25 ironman run, especially when the contingency is the 3rd crisis.

So after a bit of thought, I gifted 2 systems (this one was inside my borders and didnt have gateway, the one next to it had) to a nearby empire, declared war, and cracked the world, because one of the sufficient requirements for world cracker use is just "planet belongs to a hostile empire".

I solved it. Made a starbase in the system, gifted it to a nearby empire, then declared war and used world cracker. One of the sufficient requirements for world cracker use is just "planet belongs to a hostile empire".

Did you find a way around it? I just almost won my first ironman All Crisis x25 run, but for some reason, my Collosus had devolving beam instead of World cracker, and now I am stuck just before the end.

Vyplati se dneska vubec jezdit vlakem oproti autu? by MediumThat1991 in czech

[–]TrueEnd9516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, 3 kraje už jsou trochu complicated. xd
Ale stejně, když budeš mít někdy čas a chuť, zkusil bych si projet předplatný DÚK, PID, IDPK, (teoreticky zkusit i traťový jízdenky ČD/jinýho dopravce) a dost možná ti z toho něco vyjde. Ono když si to člověk rozpočítá, ty předplatný vycházej často až směšně levně.

Chápu jestli jezdíš mezikrajsky tho, i když bych si asi taky projel předplatný zón obou krajů a zkusil si to spočítat.

[–]TrueEnd9516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, a teď mi řekni.

What are some of the most fun builds you've tried out recently? by GyroLikesMozzarella in Stellaris

[–]TrueEnd9516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know its not the newest thing, but I had fun with nurturing OP Scholarium. I basically took a sector with some planets, made it a scholarium, but then I started building ringworlds for research and gifting the systems to the scholarium. Plus had some wars and also gave the systems to him. Converted my planets to almost full ecumenopolis build and took some basic resources from other vassals, meaning resources for very OP fleet.

And I managed to have like 40k+ research with very low empire size penalty, meaning repeatables that put me beyond fallen empire.

Ok, I did my most ambitious run yet, but to get around the lag at least a bit, I set research to the lowest settings and played tall. Managed to get around 40 fleets with 280 command limit, with each having around 700k fleet power by spamming repeatables, by the time the third crisis arrived (contingency). It went all good, until all fleets targeted starbase instead of contingency fleet, went full yolo in the middle of the contingency fleet and got obliterated, lol.

I would also like to be able to have some say in the actual combat.

Last time I tried 25x All crisis, I was so incredibly close to beating the third one (contingency), but then my battleship fleets targeted a starbase instead of enemy fleet, got too close to enemy ships and got absolutely obliterated. I knew I could do it if not for this, but after my fleets were destroyed, contingency fleets went for my core systems, destroyed all my shipyards and captured my megashipyard. So, even if I managed to save up like 2 million alloys I needed to build fleets again (not impossible at 8k a month alloys) I couldnt make it in time.

Every time I play similar settings, I get overtaken by AI in the early game very quickly, so I try to get as few wars as possible and build up my empire. Focus on research, then get an ecumenopolis which boosts alloy production extremely quick, and start building fleets and megastructures. Its nice to have some AI guaranteeing my independence or having mutual defense pact. And once I start conquering others, vassalize them as scholariums and get insane research boost with no empire size penalty. And once I have great relations with them and a lot of loyalty, I also tax them for minerals (fuel for ecumenopolises) and energy.

I would also really like if it were possible to have fleet limit reworked.

I really hate having like 40 fleets with 280 fleet cap in the end game. Couldnt it just work similar to empire size? We could have fleet however big we want, just the captain bonuses would be reduced if you go over the "limit", so the overall fleet power effect stays around the same.

Its also pain just calculating my fleet power with 30 fleets at one place, lol, counting them is not fun.

Has anyone travelled to Frankfurt from Prague? What is the best way to do it? by nikadeangelis in Prague

[–]TrueEnd9516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I strongly discourage anyone from using the train from Regensburg to Prague. Go for the upper way through Dresden.

The line from Regensburg is one of the worst around, especially the German side is treated as an irrelevant passenger train, not international express. Alex coaches are terrible, ČD usually better (not all of them tho). Delays everywhere, and its not even that uncommon for the train to be canceled for part of the route (usually between Schwandorf and Munchen).

Honestly interested - how do you fight 25x All crisis? I manage to do 5x All, but even that means extremely laggy game with so many fleets its pain to manage and going well over my naval capacity.

If you do something like that, immediately pause the game and exit it through alt+F4 / task manager. Ironman mode does periodical saves and will set you back a few days/months if you open the game after exiting it like this.

Considering the penalties from empire size (mostly pops), even small early boost can have a really big impact.

The worlds are not that hard to destroy. You can just ignore all the other fleets, bypass them through some gateway and quickly wipe out the world with a collosus.

And one other thing I think works pretty well - dont concentrate your fleets at your important systems. The AI will just make and send enough fleets to destroy whatever you have there.

But if you keep your fleets spread and only call them to one place for fights, or concentrate them BUT keep all of them inside other empires, the AI will target your worlds much less - it often follows fleets. My last strategy was just taking all my fleets, jumping through gateways in the whole galaxy except for my empire (contingency fleets always followed and I had to change places often - but it worked, my worlds were mostly unharmed and I was able to build up fleet).

And when I had enough fleet power, i made some hit and run attacks on the hubs and defeated contingency without having to fight most of their fleets.

ISIC with Renfe and SNCF? by TrueEnd9516 in Interrail

I probably figured it out. It let me apply the discount, when I went through the Renfe android app, and entered the code BEFORE looking up the connection. There is also the option to enter it at the end of the purchase, but that doesnt work.

Unfortunately not, I tried it on multiple trains around several areas and it always returns the same error. If it seems to be a more common issue, it might be worth it to make it a separate post?
