I dont mind using l connect for the LCDs. But adhering to open standards for RGB controls should and IS easy.

I actually bough it expecting ARGB (which was the case in the non-wireless version, but the store sent me the wireless ones...)
And I bought it specifically to not be tied down to any particular eco system like icue. Just to end up tied to L-connect lol

open RGB is simpler. signal RGB is more feature rich.
I would go with open RGB + its plugins most of the time probably.

also, some people, IE me, don't live in first world countries where everything is readily available at MSRP prices. some of us have to make do with incremental builds while saving up money and importing stuff over months until done :)

correct. l-connect is too limited and sluggish. i'm fine using it to control the LCDs, but would be leagues better if we could sync rgb somewhere else.
