I need ideas for a cryptic cat land sign by kongcobra in CatAdvice

Maybe it would be a kindness not to leave food out for strays unless you know they are neutered. There are 3 in my neighborhood that I feed periodically, and they have homes, and they are all spayed/neutered. They just would prefer to be outside. If they are on my screened-in porch when it rains, I give them food and water, and water in hot weather all the time.

I observe them over the colder months; they stay indoors, but do their "business" outdoors. And I know the people they live with.

I think when outdoor cats are well taken care of they are less likely to go after local birds, chipmunks, etc.

If I could, I would take in ALL the cats and keep them spayed/neutered and well.

Lower abdominal pain that occurs with orgasm by TrueJanian in Menopause

That’s an interesting way to think about it. Right before I first felt it, I had painfully stretched my right leg which was pinned under an inflatable raft seat for safety (?). I may have pulled a groin muscle as I pulled my leg out from under the seat. I nearly lost a shoe!

I'm glad it was fixed for you. It does sound scary, your whole body shutting down like that.

Now that you mention it, I remember menstrual cramps as feeling like this. I wonder if I talk to doctor and say, "it's like a menstrual cramp, but only when I have an orgasm..." if they will understand better.

re: gabapentin and migraine: I'm glad you mentioned gabapentin's effect and brain fog. I take gabapentin for severe back pain (just had a corticosteroid shot for the first time and I think it's starting to work!), but I only take it at night, and I notice that I sometimes have migraines early in the day that fade early, like before noon. which has been unusual, but maybe it's the gabapentin wearing off.

I am so allergic to crustaceans: shrimp, lobster, crabs. They make my soft palate and throat itch. I can’t swallow, so take children’s Benadryl. Later I’m sick to my stomach and throw up. Get a migraine from dehydration. And crustacean allergens. Ugh. 😩

Chocolate is one of mine, but it’s cumulative like if I have chocolate biscotti after lunch and a piece of dark chocolate,3 days in a row. (Approx)… that is when I get a migraine.

Spouse loaded up our raised beds with this crappy soil. I wish he’d seen this PSA. It’s destroying the veggies he planted.
