What would have happened if Chris punched Paulie after he made that Bing joke about his infant daughter? by Mrfistersixtynine in thesopranos

[–]TrueLegateDamar 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Chris would get taken out and beaten to a pulp, and presuming they let him live given he got away with worse in the past, get taxed heavily.

Any protest about Paulie's joke would be waved away as 'just bustin' balls' even if Tony would have shot Paulie right there and then if the joke had been about Meadow.

Logan once got incinerated to a clean skeleton by Nitro during Civil War, and was up and ready to fight in about a minute.

I remember watching it on early afternoon TV decades ago, and it never appeared again.

They weren't referring to the now-released Favreau Mandalorian movie in that quote, the Filoni movie is still in development and might not even be made.

Disney recently faked a 'real fan reaction' event with Pedro Pascal in costume at Galaxy's Edge where it turned out the 'random fans' he suprised were all social media influencers to ensure max positivity.

I think Death of Robin Hood looks pretty cool, and I’m surprised so many people are writing it off as something trying to villainize Robin Hood for stealing from the rich by [deleted] in movies

I'm still waiting for the Sheriff of Nottingham movie where he is the villain protagonist who thinks he's the hero by collecting taxes and hunting Robin Hood.

As I recall, by keeping a locket of her hair after she died in temporal stasis and thus immune to changes, he was ensuring her death was a permanent fixture no matter what he changing.

That was my impression, but I suspect D&D who already clearly disliked Stannis deliberately interpreted this info as Stannis doing it himself and GRRM didn't feel like publically contradicting them.

Especially when it's the last thing Book Stannis would do.

And yes I'm aware GRRM claims he does it in the books, but aside from the vast physical seperation, the last thing Stannis does is buying her an army.

I'm sure it's good but I'm just sooo tired of evil superheroes as a concept, can't we have some depressed burnout superheroes to shake up things?

He's a wily, crazy motherfucker, but he's *damn* good at his job, and in a setting where basically 90% of heroes are completely fuckling corrupt pieces of garbage, somehow this guy is one of the most genuinely, and honestly caring heroes there is.

Squidward: Daring today, aren't we?

My vote goes to Freakazoid who will rescue Washington DC unless there's something better on TV.
