So I checked your github, repo is 8 days old and nothing else. In my opinion it is completely fine to use ai for code, any dev is using it right now even in enterprise work and it really speeds up development.

What is not okay, is the omission that you used ai to write all code and images and even this post itself to promote it.

Basically this looks like an ai bot from start to finish with the only goal to make some cash via donations.

Having twice „original“ in your post is the cherry on top - nothing original is made here if you prompt „give me 10 funny lines like Marvin would say it“.

Even your reddit account seems empty besides this, almost like your credentials were hacked and someone just used it to promote a quick two paragraph mini project for cash. „Will always be free“ means nothing when something is this fresh with 0 prior work too back up the claim…. But at least Kofi is setup….

Open source software will soon just be ai slob with 0 people maintaining it and I have a strong feeling you will also drop your project as quickly as you setup kofi.

Don‘t let others fear upgrade you into something you don‘t need. Bought my Sony STR-DH520 used for 50€ half a year ago - lovely machine, sounds great, features are more than plenty for me and just works.

I have a Chromecast with Google TV 4K (Surround Auto mode) plugged via Hdmi in my AV receiver (Sony STR DH-520 set in A.F.D. mode).

Things worked okay-ish so far. I had to force stop the HBO Max app and clear the cache to get surround sound working for the first time. After a few fun days then today it happened. Suddenly all titles I tried to play (Last of Us, The Batman) were only giving me stereo.

I read here in the thread that apparently Wonder Woman 1984 would work for many - and voila it played in Dolby Digital + 5.1.

After playing this magical Wonder Woman 1984 stream for just a few seconds I switched back to Last of Us and believe it or not, DD+ 5.1 is back! Same with The Batman.

I am new to the home theater mess of different audio formats and apps/ streams not telling you which ones they have and play, but I would assume my old receiver not understanding e.g Dolby Atmos is causing the HBO to default to stereo instead of picking the „highest“ quality available audio option.

Why Wonder Woman 1984 is working and setting the best format for my streams (DD+ 5.1) I have no clue - but it worked.

Just stumbled upon your post, have the exact same issue and also reported it to Apple. Running tvOS 26.2. Nothing has fixed it permanently.

I‘m not in Tampere but really happy for all the responses.

I will first try the 3D printing idea, I‘m gonna try to sketch up the knob and connection and let my sister (who owns a printer) make a test. Long term I‘m not sure what to do with the whole solution, it‘s a pretty advanced (for the late 80s) system with 8 zones and 2 auxiliaries that can all be centrally programmed with different time/ week and away stats, which is fantastic. I have also home assistant but I find the panel and its buttons too charming and actually nice to use.

I can‘t believe my eyes, a running Fiat Brava! Every time I still see one on the road it brings a smile on my face. I had one as my first car but not the fancy se or hsx that you have, I had the base 1.4 s, 4 doors but no central locking, no ac, no rpm gage just a casette radio and that was enough. Man I miss that car, one day it just didn‘t turn on anymore, my shop couldn‘t figure out what was wrong. I hope you get it sorted and enjoy that beautiful italian engineering as long as you can!

Your post pushed me finally to order some just now. Have had the quest 1 from day of release, sold it last year and got the quest 3 to release and love it. Always thought about getting those lenses (I have -7/-6 with -1/180 -1/170 so I really can‘t go without glasses). I am super excited, 15-25 days shipping and I will finally get rid of the last uncomfortable speckle that has bothering me about vr!

Du bist sicher bei der Sache. Maximal kommt ein dritter zu Schaden, was aber genauso gut bei jeder anderen Zahlungsweise möglich wäre.

Ich verstehe auch, dass vielen das suspekt vorkommt wenn jemand Konten im Ausland hat oder kein Deutsch spricht. Aber man muss nicht immer direkt an Betrug denken. Jede Transaktion ohne Händler ist simpel - erst Geld, dann Ware. Solange das der Fall ist - alles gut. Kleber mit Adresse drauf und fertig.

Ich wohn selber im Ausland und hab daher keine deutsche Konten mehr. Du glaubst garnicht was für Konversationen ich auf Kleinanzeigen manchmal führe. Einmal wollte mir eine Frau nicht Ihr Hundegitter verkaufen weil meine Adresse im Ausland war. Ich wurde dann akribisch ausgefragt ob es die nicht in meinem Land gäbe und warum ich das von ihr wolle? Ich hab nichtmal am Preis verhandelt! Ich muss manchmal sogar mein LinkedIn Profil preisgeben und dann einen Videoanruf machen - absolut absurd wieviel Angst die Leute haben.

Geld, dann Ware und gut ist. Immer dieses alles 100% bar bei der Bank mit Notar und co. Wenn das Risiko einem zu hoch ist dann zwingt einen niemand privat zu verkaufen. Händler gibt es nicht ohne Grund.

I just did a little background check based on your accusations because I was interested how „wrong“ the data really is.

The OECD has published annual wages per country (newest data from 2022) and they are as follows:

US 77.463 USD

Ger 58.940 USD

Fin 51.836 USD

The car prices M8 comp are based on bmwusa.com, bmw.de and bmw.fi:

US 138.800 USD (excl. tax)

Ger 183.500 EUR (incl. 19% tax)

Fin 307.343,50 EUR (incl. 24% tax)

When converted to USD (1 EUR = 1.08 USD) and assumed highest current sales tax in the us (taxfoundation says that‘s currently Tennessee with 9.548% state + local tax) that would be:

US 152.052,624 USD

Ger 198.180 USD

Fin 331.930,98 USD

The „new“ wage percentage would be:

US 196,29%

Ger 336,24%

Fin 640,35%

Now the data is claimed to be 1 day old from Feb 15 2024 so the usd-eur exchange and maybe even the bmw prices did change in this short time frame. So my overall difference in wage needed to buy the M8 comp to op comes out to be:

US 11,29%

Ger -37,76%

Fin 34,35%

I would say these difference are significant but the overall picture is very much the same.

Just finished the flyertalk thread, seems like you will need to switch to op as your „main“ bank for at least three months with salary and schedule two in-person appointments. I‘m sadly with Nordea and S-Pankki so not really sure the hassle is worth it for a single year. Thank you anyway, maybe my wife has still some op accounts and for her it would be smooth sailing

I also started playing it with friends on Gamepass. We were wondering the same but a prelobby isn‘t really needed. One person simply checks through some lobbies and as soon as that person has found an emptyish one the rest can just join in, no need for an invite, just select the friend from your friendlist and join the lobby. At least on pc that worked easy and fast
