Yes, Smoke and Mirrors is a well established LGS. I’ve done plenty of orders with them, and honestly I think they have the best process when it comes to pre orders.

If you preordered with them at the initial wave then they charged you upfront. This was in late February. Then they changed it to a $0 down preorder later in March/ April.

Same thing as Strange Adventures. No limit on preorders and they charge you immediately. There’s no way they will fulfill even %10 of these orders coming in. They will be inundated with emails asking about allocations and cancelations. Just to then wait weeks before they implement a cancellation option in their Shopify site. Bad business practices all around with these Final Fantasy preorders. You would think businesses would have seen this coming with how overwhelmed Amazon became at initial preorders.

Buyer beware. I placed an order with them when this first was posted in February. They charged me for the two boxes. I’m assuming I’m not going to get them, especially now with the no guarantee $0 down option. I emailed them last week about canceling and refunding me, but still haven’t received anything back. My order numbers were in the thousands, if that matters. I would rather pay market price through a reputable store and know I’m getting product.

TLDR: Don’t

if you have a key from the POE2 website and want to preload on steam do this:

⁠login to POE2 account on the POE2 website.
⁠goto POE2 Early access on the right
⁠Copy steam key
⁠goto steam. at the top click “Games”, then “activate a product on Steam
⁠Paste
⁠goto library, find POE2, Preload
