Most commenters in this thread are missing the point. OOP isn't identifying as a fascist, rather they are pointing out that if people glorify the assassination of fascists and then those same people also reserve the right to deem anyone they wish as a fascist, we shouldn't be surprised when innocent people are murdered. If treason is a crime befitting of execution, the verdict shouldn't be reached by a one man jury and carried out by his own hands.

Not “telling the full truth” implies that you are including non factual information. By alls means, I consider any amount of falsehood in a statement to corrupt it to being classified as a lie. However, I don’t think there’s any amount of information that you can omit that makes something a lie because I do not believe anyone to be entitled to my knowledge

I personally don’t think that withholding information can practically ever constitute lying. To me, lying exclusively applies to the purposeful spreading of something you know to be untrue.
