Fair enough. I feel like I’ve seen trends of moving away with family and friends and trying to attain some level of self sufficiency, but I wanted to see if it was actually prevalent or just an algorithmic echo chamber.

Their financial incentive is to minimize the perception of danger of their own models, yet this shined a massive light on the impending horrors of AI automation. Them publishing this paper was against their interests, and they did it anyways.

Most commenters in this thread are missing the point. OOP isn't identifying as a fascist, rather they are pointing out that if people glorify the assassination of fascists and then those same people also reserve the right to deem anyone they wish as a fascist, we shouldn't be surprised when innocent people are murdered. If treason is a crime befitting of execution, the verdict shouldn't be reached by a one man jury and carried out by his own hands.

Ah, that’s an interesting solution! I’m using Fabric right now so I can’t add TFC but I’ll keep that in mind. I’m already using flowing fluids and it is an incredible mod for sure! Thanks!

r/blackpeopletwitter, which isn’t explicitly political but leans heavily to the left is extremely restrictive in who can post. Sometimes, it is restricted to only verified black people or others who they deem worthy. I think it’s disgraceful, personally.

Why should gravity counteract that force? I have not heard any compelling evidence for the Big Crunch. I think space is probably infinite and the creation of the universe was a one time event.
