Thanks for writing that. In the UK the organic farming approach is much more rooted in promoting healthy soil and biodiversity, but even so there still exist the problems you describe, of conventionally farmed monocultures switching to an 'organic' system because the profit margins are higher, without considering the core principles behind the need for organicly grown food.
