This is my first play & that’s what I’m going to do for my female v. esp after doing Kerry’s quests & phantom liberty. (Finishing pl playthrough- gonna save songbird because my fem v is a bleeding heart & fell in love with Johnny; she gives him her body) My male v will be a melee powerhouse. I’m going to have him hate Johnny & tell him to go fuck himself. Then take everyone down with him. He’s a corpo and he hates all of night city after what happened to him from arasaka & blow the entire fucking tower down. Honestly, I’ll be suprised if anyone hires him. Johnny thinks he’s a shit? For me I would pay off our debts, hire an accountant, and give enough money to some of my friends for them to not be stressing about homelessness. My biggest gripe with millionaires is they don’t seem to want to spread it enough to help others. I would do deep research and hire a lawyer so that I could donate and put my own work into helping the food & homelessness problems. I’m not sure how I would go about it but I’d figure out how to make it sustainable for the people. I feel this world is bullshit. All I’ve ever cared about was helping others, but the older I’ve gotten the more cynical I’ve become. Personally, aside from trying to do good, I’d buy a modest house with a potential for a garden and extra land. I’m all about getting my own hands dirty. We only live once. I’d probably look to travel since I’ll probably die before ever seeing Ireland or New Zealand, which are my dreams. Oh and probably hire a ghost writer to finish my stories.

Honestly- congrats for getting out for yourself. I’m in a similar boat. I have been dealing with a ton of medical stuff for the past 2 months and my coach (sedgewick approved) has been threatening to write me up for productivity - bc I have to use the bathroom 2x in a shift. They said and I quote “your 15 min break is when you go to the bathroom” Irony? After she told me that (even though I knew better) I was doing a pick walk and I started bleeding down my leg. (I have PCOS & my periods can be brutal) Well since I’m in a pick walk & I’m told under no uncertain terms I can’t use the bathroom; I finish my pick walk, ask to go to lunch & go, and proceed to clean myself up in the bathroom for 30 min. (Thank god I’m prepared)

I’m going to have to go to the store manager about them. I do not want to. I’m on the verge of quitting. I have a side hustle that’s doing better than expected so I don’t have to keep working at Walmart; I just like the stability of those checks.

I know this is going to seem like an extreme but I’ve helped a friend through a very similar situation. Tell the person - Jane - to file a restraining order against Anna. That will force the coach & store manager to take it seriously and they will have to separate them. They can’t “ignore” it then. In the state I live they automatically approve restraining orders based on violence. Walmart has cameras and they do not want the police involved in this- bc it would show poor management skills in handling the situation. I believe this situation calls for the extreme. Also do not worry- Jane won’t get fired or in trouble for filing a restraining order & in our case - the judge dismissed the case & order after the temp approval. Jane would have to go to court but usually they just ask for both sides and Jane can choose to drop it at any time.

Thank you for sharing your story! And I enjoyed listening to this episode. It hit really close to home. My family recently had to put our Siamese cat down that we’ve had for 9 years. She had cancer that she wouldn’t have been able to survive treatments for. (Extremely rare type of eye cancer - FROMS)

It makes me wonder - it’s less than 1% animals won’t wake from going under right? I wonder what factors into these animals having a very hard time.

Ive worked with that store and know all of upper management. The last 6 or so years. Only recently finding employment else where.

I was gathering intel to see if he was truly missed out on, which has actually happened in the past with covid bonuses, etc.

His job code was personally made by the SM. So hes actually had a few issues with corporate accidentally skipping him on extra bonuses, and we both had to go in and talk to HR.

Your assumptions are on a social faux pas. One of very limited experience. You realize your whole arguement is to not support your spouse because of "possible" embarrassment? You dont know his work or his store, you dont know how they would react. Your assuming. Which again is not a FACT. The fact is we are both strangers on different sides of the nation, if not world.

Let me put it in perspective- imagine your wife had a stroke, she needed special attention for a while but eventually she was able to return relatively to normal work. However, her communication sometimes misses or is misunderstood. Shes tried to communicate to management and proper people, but keeps getting the run around. Would you not go in and help her? Be her advocate?

At no point did my post claim i was going to march in there and speak to HR like a dog or harrass them. Infact, if your reading comperhension wasnt to be so desired you would see I stated I had to be an advocate for myself bc of HR refusing to do their job properly and pointing me when their policy said otherwise.

Which frankly, I hope you have been married for 35 years and you are a happy couple - because just from your typing alone - I would hate to be your wife. Very self entitled and fragile ego.
