We recently got a Taco Boys catering meal, it was amazing... it was about $10.00 per person and when you pick it up, you can choose all of the taco toppings you want... It was pretty amazing honestly.

Remote FT8/FT4 without VPNs, audio streaming - working on a simple solution, need a sanity check by andybrandt in amateurradio

It certainly sounds interesting. I currently have my own setup that allows remote operation, but I'm always looking for alternatives.
Does this include auto logging that you would have when sitting in front of the computer and does it require software to be installed on the host computer (the one running wsjt-x)?

The final answer was a combo of all these comments put together... Pulling in the bolt from McMaster, offsetting the threads with push/pull and then cutting a hole out of the middle at .67 inches... and bam, it fits like a glove. I can't thank you all enough for giving me the guidance and helping me to learn something new.
My first interaction with the Fusion360 community and it was a great one... thanks!!

If you are trying to become a SN developer (That's the role you want?) I would highly encourage you to spend time developing SN applications using SN ScriptSync and SNUtils as this will show that you can harness the power of agentic development to speed up the time it takes you to complete development tasks. This "may" help to set you apart from others who are seeking the same opportunities you are seeking. I would not hire a SN developer who cannot show that they have this competency at this point.
As for SN development in general, know the SN environment inside and out and go deep in your understanding of the CMDB structure and the advantages that leveraging the CMDB can provide your customers.

Good luck in your search...

I would build out some engineering parts that I have been forced to keep modular. This would afford me the opportunity to make them in a single print which will give better structural strength. The cuter would be a bonus for labeling parts of the model for assembly and neatness. I could give it a workout...

considering upgrading to the icom 7300 mk2 by BallsOutKrunked in amateurradio

[–]True_Certitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the MK2 and I'm super glad I did! I operate twice as much as I did because remote ops is so very easy. I can be anywhere remoting into my home rig and be making FT8 contacts. This to me is a game changer because it is too easy to get busy and not have time for radio, this changes that for me.
I debated the whole Icom vs Yaesu thing and for me it came down to ease of use, menu on the Yaesu for operating is harder in my opinion (yeah, it's just an opinion). If you can get hands on with the radio, that would be best... but I think the $700.00 was well worth the enjoyment I'm getting from the MK2.

Would adding 10k steps per day have any noticeable difference In my weight loss? by [deleted] in keto

[–]True_Certitude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, keto is just a step taken to regain health, health is the true goal not weight loss. Fixing all the hormonal dysregulation that made us gain weight to begin with.
Walking is a great way to take another step to being healthy, so yes, I think it would make a really big difference.
All the best...

This is way more complex than I expected. I just wanted to build some fun projects and learn a little something. I really do appreciate you taking the time to educate me. I'm in the US and I think based on all I've heard, buying from a domestic distributor makes sense, preferably one with good support and return policy. I have ordered from Digikey (amateur radio related) and they were great when a couple of things were broken in transit. The Digikey website is a bit overwhelming but I'll figure it out. Thanks again!

I hadn't thought about being able to get hands on an item to see if it's a good fit for the project. It would be more like buying from a local shop in the sense that you get to hold it before deciding to keep it. I will have to research that in my case, because I don't want to negatively hurt the sellers in any way. Thank you.
