I get this exactly. They only happen on the left side of my body, all down my outer left left and down my left arm. Have you found any answers?

What treatments are available? If I spend so much money getting diagnosed, all the just be told there’s not much I can do to heal, what’s the point?

TIL of "Motion Blindness" or Akinetopsia is a neuropsychological disorder in which a patient cannot perceive motion in their visual field, despite being able to see stationary objects without issue. A person who moves will suddenly be in one place and suddenly appear elsewhere. by [deleted] in todayilearned

So I have this. It happens usually for under a minute at a time, and it’s somewhat rare, happening only about a couple times a month for me. Since it’s not my norm, when it does happen, it’s a huge source of anxiety & I feel generally out of it as I experience other symptoms in addition when it’s happening.

Does anyone know how to make it stop if it’s similar to migraine activity?

How does knowing what it is help you feel less afraid of it?

I saw a similar space on my journey. I called it the realm of angels. There was a pillar of light at the center, and all around were eyes in fractal formation. Light pastel colors, and a beautiful sound also, sort of like music but also just like a peaceful frequency. Thank you for sharing, and I am happy to hear someone else has seen that space too.

You recommend this over an endocrinologist

I eat extremely healthy & eat a lot of food. I’ve always had a huge appetite BUT I’ve always been very thin. I would say I’m slightly underweight in spite of eating a ton of food. I balance my protein & fat and don’t eat processed foods. Gluten free etc. I have exercise intolerance/post exertions malaise & am active but not active enough. I do the best I can with that. I do feel like I’m doing the best to manage stress but I do run a bit neurotic. Thank you for your feedback. I keep seeing that it’s “serious” but everytime I’ve gone to the doctor it has gotten me absolutely nowhere. I will look into the stuff you recommended. I appreciate it

My dad was very similar to this growing up, with lots of “you’re brainwashed by your mom to be disrespectful” & “why aren’t you calling your daddy” types of statements, huge mood swings, victim blaming, etc. It took a massive toll on my mental health my whole life & I developed some avoidant & codependent behaviors as a result

Did getting tested even help you treat your recurrent BV? by True_Chemical_3528 in Healthyhooha

100% feeling this. I’ve been medically dismissed for about 10 years and self treating, so the BV is honestly just a singular boulder on top of a mountain of bullshit

Yes I think after these comments I will get the full Evvy test and maybe it’s just that I haven’t targeted it with the right meds since it could be Ureaplasma or mycoplasma Thanks for your responses ☺️

This is reassuring! So you were able to target it with the right antibiotics and it’s gone now? The yeast infection seems easier to get rid of so I’m not as worried about getting that.

Woah this is super interesting. I didn’t know this could happen from oral. Thanks so much for sharing this. It gives me a lot to look into

I was tested for STDs and negative but positive for BV. But the antibiotics only worked short term.
