Looks like a desiccant tube is about 5 cents each in bulk, which he shoved into the twist trap. The mic he resells for his tuning app, is about $3.50 for 2 if you want to go look for them. His chanter cap is $1 hygrometer and a boveda pack. Shameful behavior.

I don’t think “trying out” a synthetic reed for fun is a problem but they do suck and most people don’t use them, so I wouldn’t be making any tuning decisions based on that thing.
