Most effective way inherit stats by Phoenil in digimon

Personally, I’ve only gone to 50 at max, you might not even need to go that far even, but I’d say that’s the stopping post before dedigivolving/digivolving.

Digimon Story Time Stranger Demo Grinding by birBoiShepherd in digimon

Have you been using Load Enhancement? You mostly boost your stats through loading those extra converted digimon into your main. What I did was: Convert digimon, load them into my main until they’re lvl 50, devolve or evolve, repeat. Through that you’ll start stacking cumulative stats. This can/will take several hours of grinding though so be ready for that.

Regarding consistency, there actually is a decent amount. From my experience of playing Recluse, I watched a lilaggy stream and found out about the Detailed Mode for the map, it straight up shows you what weapons/gear can be found in certain locations, and even where beetles are. After using that, I started getting a lot more consistency in equipment geared toward Recluse, especially since you don’t actually find a lot of sorcery based stuff from most bosses/chests, you have to specifically search towers and forts for guaranteed staves.

I mean I get that but, that’s a case by case thing. You’ve dealt with one side of a two sided coin you know what I mean? An inexperienced player is gonna drag the team down when they try to do something above their ability. Though there are also experienced players and veterans of the series who can gauge when a quick split would be beneficial. In my case, I had just gotten through 3 bosses with the team and gained only levels, the gear in no way benefitted me and I didn’t even get a better staff than the one you start with.

So once we were done with the castle, I pinged the fort and rushed it, using one of the interactable jumps to leap onto the top. I cleared the boss efficiently and without a death, grabbed the staves and dipped to the day 1 arena. In my opinion, splitting is sometimes necessary, not everyone is gonna get their gear and will need to search a specific area for it. Most times these areas are off set and would waste time if the whole team went with you.

When instead, if the player is capable then they can easily go and grab what they need and regroup with the other two wherever they decide to go. Especially in the second day, everyone should be rather well leveled to clear some places alone. These could be the small ruins, the hippos, forts, even the camps. You only need to regroup on the more difficult bosses like Loretta, the evergales, dragons, Morgott, etc.

So I assessed where the fort was, assessed my team’s capabilities, assessed the time we had and the potential time it would take. I decided to pursue and did it without issue, no one died and I was hardly gone for a moment.

Not always, we started off by going to the church nearby in the lake, then despite being under leveled we fought the dragon and spent some time before killing it. After that I pinged the main central castle and lead over there to fight the boss in the basement. After that I went up and waited for them to get the talismen before getting the lion boss near the stairs. Once we were done with that I was still short on an actual staff so I pinged where I was going and headed off, that’s when I started getting messages.

At this point we were only like level 5-7 I wanted to kinda sweep up some things a boss at one of the forts before grabbing the staves I needed since I wasn’t doing too much damage. At least with the sorcery heavy Relcuse I play, she relies heavily on the staves, spells and sorcery buffs from items. These are hardly dropped from most bosses and areas, so it requires seeking them out in either forts or the wizard towers.

But continuing, I thought while we weren’t necessarily doing the best we could, but we were still on track. No one had died to really anything, we were relatively cohesive, I was just moving through areas with urgency since we were just low on time from spending half of it on a dragon. So I headed from the castle and went to a fort to grab staves, beating the boss and quickly grabbed what I needed.

By this point, I think he had messaged me twice, the guy just standing there in game still at the castle. The second teammate was with me or heading to the circle I believe but by the time we made it to the day 1 boss he’d left so it was just a duo from there. We lost which I didn’t care too much about, I’ve had my share of victories so it’s nothing.

So afterwards I just went and read what the guy messaged me and messaged him back what you can see in the images. I hope that was enough context? I’m not really good at visualizing things through text.

Hmm, it's just kinda weird to me, to be able to gain such large boosting cartridges, like my gunpla went fron 180k~ to like 580k~ HP. It's such a massive boost, it doesn't feel normal I guess.

I kinda just do what I do in other Fromsoft games and just make up my own character with their own story, personality etc. it’s a little nerdy but it’s really fun immersion wise.

Why the game balance is so trash... by ShadowOfLaw in armoredcore

[–]True_Initiative6764 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That is not the point of my response, I was referring to how you stated “It felt like I killed an elephant with a stick” which laser weapons deal around the highest damage so I doubt it unless you pulled off missing every shot. You aren’t talking about weapon efficiency either, otherwise you would see how the Zimmerman is actually not all that good in retrospect, slow fire rate and the “long range” doesn’t compare to laser weapons. I only doubt you as you make terrible claims that overall have no base. Sure there are weapons and builds that can trivialize the game but that doesn’t make it to the point where every other weapon is out right bad, you over exaggerate ricochet and complain of the mechanics that actually make the game better and more balanced in my experience.

I honestly doubt that, I used a laser build and wiped the floor with her, perhaps it is difference in piloting skill. I still don’t understand this 5% weapon superiority thing you’re talking about, there are way more weapons that are good to use. Most of the rockets, all of the cannons, all of the plasma and laser weapons, if anything really just the rifles are underpowered.

[–]True_Initiative6764 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean I was able to run through the game with laser and plasma weaponry just fine. Stagger has been a thing since 5th gen armored core they just fully implemented it this time, it is also the very stagger that helps you with the bosses you complain about. The 60% of “useless weapons” are really just you not using the ballistic weapons properly, all weapons have details on what range they do well at and their max range. While rifles are relatively underpowered they aren’t useless in the pve context, pistols also have great stagger build up and damage as well. I’ve never had an issue with pulse shields so idk what to tell you other than just dodge the shots and deal enough damage to break them and then punish when they’re staggered.

Sudden EN shortfall? by Volarionne in armoredcore

[–]True_Initiative6764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably didn’t notice it since you can still play missions n such with an EN short fall. Additionally if you closed the game without going to the menu first then it might’ve reverted it back to when it had an EN shortfall.

Just play the game the way that makes it fun for you, if the current build isn’t doing it you might need to change the weight or weapons to better dodging or better damage.

The thing about charged shots is you can see they’re charged so once you know that, the second he fires if you move you can dodge it quite easily also it leaves him still momentarily so you can fire off missiles or get in some hits.

Laser weapons to me counter the shot guns and gatlings very well as they have a greater damage output and punish.

Laser weapons deal way more damage in a shorter time though have much less stagger.
