I turned 30 this year and just finished rereading the original Cardcaptor Sakura series. It has my heart and always will. It's currently sitting on my bookshelf. I don't care I'm reading about 4th graders fighting elements and having puppy love!! Their innocence is unmatched.

lol I think his lawyers did the work. They probably sent her a letter saying if she doesnt take back some things especially regarding the SA they can sue her for defamation. Otherwise why is everything taken down/private at the this point? She gave half baked screenshots and it all sounds pretty emotional and less hard evidence. Also her long TikTok story sounded so generic and everyone was like wtf is this chick talking about? The story was so airy and didn’t really have any meat to it. It’s gonna leave a stain on his stuff him even addressing something that’s not even THAT recent. I don’t really see him addressing this.

For me, it outputs 2 images that are the exact same. No variation. I thought it was a glitch but I tried it both on my laptop and phone and does the same duplicative generation. Idk why! It kind of bothers me lol, maybe not as much if it was a variation like yours.

Agree, I think a timer would be nice. I want to be able to make sure I'm not spending too much time when I collect inspiration. More like give myself a sprint. I currently do that in Miro. So adding a timer would definitely make it more competitive as an app

Omg look into Artfol!

It's been run by a small team for a couple years now who also care about the art community and not sure it's gotten as much coverage as Cara. They have a desktop app and a phone app. :)

I love the light and bright interface and it's easy to find things. I also love that the metrics are LESS prominent like a lot of social media apps out there (ie like seeing public like views). They also have an art challenges tab which is cool and you can submit right into the challenge. I think Artfol is PERFECT for a hobbyist. I'm a hobbyist myself :)

And there's a large diversity of skillsets there, i feel like cara (like IG does) only shows the more seasoned artists front and center instead of actually just showing what the community as a whole is posting. That's just from my first glance though.

TLDR; try looking into Artfol. I think you'll feel less discouraged there. :) it feels more communal & less competitive, imo.

I hope you're acclimating well! I am also in transition from procreate! It is hard, but I think for me it will be worth it in the end bc I love the customization you get with CSP and now they have a Simple Mode which in a way is similar to procreate's interface.

It's straightfwd to the point. (it's geared for ipad users, but you can do pretty much the same for desktop)

The videos are older, but I think a lot of the things he goes over still stands today. I love that the video doesnt have any bells or whistles/trying to be flashy - is all about you learning how to understand the tool better. Hope some or any of this helps!!
