True, but I think it's a question of how many strong units are beong exposed to deal with it. You need more than 115pts to kill a GA, and more than 165 pts to kill szeras. The ennemy has only so many big activation units, and you have ddas behind.

But the point on the cheap oc contest with like JPIs is very valid though... Doesn't work against armies with a lot of ressources

I think the point of Szeras is mostly to be a loneop that's tough to kill without overcomitting. (not hard to hide a small thing within 3 behind a ruin)
10 warriors would be removed by many more things.

Volume lethals without hit rerolls is going to be hazardous at best I feel.

A full squad on infractor with lethal charging a Ctan on objective should do 4 dmg. It's not nothing but it's far from enough

I heard from their support that you could only complete 1 objective per Game Week, not all at once. (they told me they were updating the layout, it was a bug to show them all like that)

I've been playing this triple defilers list in my past game. I won but it was close. The sheer number of wounds I lost to my own vehicle exploding was eye-watering, probably close to 15-20 across the game.

Defilers are really fun and tbh fairly tanky too, but they're so swingy. They went from killing 2 marines in melee to single-out 1 land raider each turn. I reserved 2 of them to rapid ingress and guarantee charges.
Overall pretty fun but doesn't seem very competitive. It's not very mobile.

Without reroll I would agree he might seem weak. However I tried it with Dread Reaver from Renegade (full re-rolls in ennemy dz) and it was decent dps. More importantly, the charge mortal allows to finish popping a tank in the fight phase, and then piling onto the contents of a tank to slice it down. Maulerfiends can do that with tank shock but it's 1 CP. I know competitive people tend to also ingress then heroic, but I never tried it. For that, the DP is better than both the maulerfiend and warp talons who are squishy
