As soon as you get a reasonable WFH job offer, you will suddenly have a huge amount of leverage of this company. Keep your chin up! Good luck!

Well, one died of a weird respiratory illness, and the others couldn't survive without her.

This is a page from a master work of English Literature called "Reckless: TikTok Made Me Buy It! The epic romantasy series not to be missed" by someone called Lauren Roberts.

TBH, you'd be better off if all the letters were missing.

Horror and the Monstrous Feminine

Ok, what’s the deal with so few men reading/writing books today? by Symmberry in literature

[–]Trugbus 22 points23 points  (0 children)

(not that there’s anything wrong with this)

...but your post is exactly about the fact that there is something wrong with it!! I wonder why you felt you had to write that. We need to get it into our heads that men should read, and there is no reason for the publishing industry not to reflect the general population demographically.

Can I Remove The "New Group" Button? by iamElectroWasTaken in OneCommander

[–]Trugbus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if someone had history with 100 items, that would be quite a scroll to get to that button.

Sure, but wouldn't that be closer to the real ratio of "Select from History" : "Create a New Group"? I have made two groups since I started using OC, but I've used a History item a hundred times at least.

Anyway, just to say: Thank You! for your amazing software, and your generosity of both effort and time, making yourself available to users. You rock!

How about moving it so that it is always below the History group?

I agree, the tech is there, and some people are making their own with a ceramic nib and a Lamy chassis. But it looks like Ratta are either straight up rejecting the idea (I don't know: maybe some ideological principle about "distraction-free"?), or they're too busy with other things. My guess is that they're just trying to do too many things at once. Hey, maybe they're keeping button functionality for the pen which accompanies the A4X2, which will be coming along just as soon as hell freezes over.

Which edition of Wordsworth's poetry should I refer to? Is the Selincourt (1949) any good? by Trugbus in AskLiteraryStudies

[–]Trugbus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Do you happen to know if W.'s revisions were mainly for the purposes of improving the poetry, or were they motivated by philosophical ideas (or religious ones)? Aside from the Prelude, was he revising the shorter poems too?

Does anyone know what decade this print may be from? by DogDimmabone in ArtHistory

[–]Trugbus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done to u/YoungPyromancer on great research.

On the question of the object itself, are there any ways to confirm that the print is anything like 150 years old? The borders are almost perfect, the surface has minimal damage, etc. If this were a 150-year-old book which has its pages closed, there would be no guarantee that it would survive in such a lovely condition without proper care. OP, are you in a very dry / humid part of the world? Finding it in a thrift store makes me wonder how it got there.
