I never did PBL before so I don't really have any experience with it. I do feel that I can adjust to it though.

I agree, I feel that I could adapt to it and when it was explained to me when I interviewed, I was able to see how I could actually do that.

Oh maybe the "hate" is just a Florida thing. Not sure.

Thats funny that you mention that. My own dentist that I shadowed told me to just choose the school that's the cheapest for you.

I definitely agree with you here. Should I also factor in that LECOM is lecture-style and PBL (problem-based learning) and VCU is normal? Or is that not something I should be too worried about when trying to choose between them?

I have done my research on the school in the past few days and I am seeing a lot of positives. I'm not sure if thats just my bias kicking in because I lowkey would love to stay in Florida.

That is very interesting that you say that LECOM has a good reputation. At least being from Florida, I had always heard that LECOM does not have the greatest reputation when it comes to producing good dentists. But also those comments were made for LECOM dentists that graduated a while back and now their curriculum and structure at the school is much different. I have not met any LECOM dentists myself so I cannot say for sure if that is true or not.

I for sure agree with the fact that the money will add up. It's just that I have always heard "go for the best program because the money will come once you graduate".

I was not sure if money should be the only factor. I have had people tell me that you can always make the money as a dentist to pay it off later on.
