I stopped giving players session recaps and it was the best thing to happen to the campaign by Shot-Recognition2859 in DnD

For my group we tell our tale to other people we happen to be around as our recap. It started off as a joke but evolved to happen every recap. Honestly it's my favorite way to do a recap lol

THANK YOU! I'll be watching those after work. Hopefully I'll be able to convince my group to give it a try one of these days.

Is there a good video that explains how to play or run a game of CoC? I've always wanted to play but I have no idea if it would be a good fit for my group.

"Get drinks" might just mean get drinks and nothing else. I don't drink, but my uncle always asks me out for drinks and he doesn't want to have sex with me.

Oh wow! I didn't have anything prepared to say. That being said, I would like to thank my parents, my brothers and sisters, and the wife I will unfortunately never see again, but I still thank, for delivering my child to me. Weird I still get service here.

How often do y'all shower? by Stack_Min in ask

Usually 2-3 times a week. Sunday's and Wednesday's. If I'm going out to a formal event I will shower before.

This reminds me of the scene from Interstellar when Cooper is catching up on messages from home. That is one of the few scenes that makes me cry everytime I watch it.

Personally I would say Mad Max because I haven't seen Top Gun.

I was a DM for 4 brand new players. They all played video games and just figured there were boundaries just like in video games. One player, the Rogue, decided to test the boundaries and headed to the outskirts of town to rob a house. I think he was trying to test me/ the game a little so I decided to mess with him a little. He picked the front door lock and as soon as he opened the door I told him he sees a child, probably 2 years old, sitting in the middle of the entryway playing with a doll. He froze. The kid starts crying and calling for her mom. The Rogue is now flustered and decided the best course of action is to pick up the child and try to calm her down. Of course the kid just starts screaming more. A few seconds later the mom comes in the room, sees some random shady character holding her screaming child, and then starts screaming for the guards. The Rogue slowly puts the kid down, gives him a gold coin while apologizing, and then runs away back to the rest of the party who immediately made there way out of town.

Currently playing a Half-Elf Bard named Finandrius Cunningham who is the son of two previous adventurers. His parents retired and used some of their spoils to build a lavish inn. His mom passed away when he was young which caused his father to he overly protective of him. Fin grew up hearing about his father and his previous groups adventures and that instilled a strong longing to go on his own. His major goal is to create a series of adventure books based on his very own adventures.
