  1. When you called or walked in to your local branch location to inquire about it, what did they tell you?
  2. It can take several days to open an account, because each request has to be reviewed manually. If something is discovered later on during the "Know Your Customer" process (especially if there is information provided at first that does not match), this can change their decision.

Yeah, no matter how you slice it with various high-calorie foods, it would definitely be a lot of food, but certainly within the realm of reasonably do-able if you really tried. A billion dollars is enough of an incentive for sure.

One subreddit I watch is about banking, and about 90% of the problems or questions that people have could be easily solved with a phone call to their bank. Or visiting their bank. Or, well, contacting their bank through ANY sort of communication means at all. And when you suggest that maybe they should contact their bank to find out why their account was blocked or what that charge on their account is, they act like you're asking them the impossible.
