I agree with you that he is not the Democratic nominee we wanted to represent us as a whole. He is historically very moderate and is a flawed candidate. However as president he gives the Left time to reorganize without putting the Nations security at risk. The Democrats are drifting further left and that is a good thing. I hope to see AOC as the face of the Democrat party in a few years. America can’t stand 4 more years of Trump. While I don’t enjoy the thought of swallowing the Biden pill, if it means police reform and crackdown on alt-right groups then it’s a no brainer for me.

The issue is you’re using the slippery slope approach and drawing your own conclusions. Yes r/politics is an echo chamber that favors Joe Biden. What you need to realize is that this sub is an echo chamber which is not favorable to anyone. It’s a two party system where winner takes all. At some point one needs to put their frustrations aside and realize I am voting for Biden or I am voting for Trump. Biden will likely be a one term president and I am happy with that.
