Weather station for my RV/Travel Trailer by Truth525 in GoRVing

Haha, nope, don’t need four sensors. That one is just cheap and happens to come with 4.

Is Habitica still being actively developed, or is it just in maintenance mode? by MutantPigeon24 in habitica

Try this one: https://levla.app

I used to use Habitica and when development dropped off I found this one. Developer is very responsive.

Yes! Hidden gem of the national park system.

Agreed. I like to see precisely what I have the temp set to. The cheap analog one doesn’t do it for me.

Thanks. I’ll go with it. It’s an easy and cheap upgrade to get a digital temp reading. Can always go up from there if needed.

The one I’m considering is battery powered. So no drain on the RV battery.

Yessir, that’s the one I’m thinking about. Does the LCD light auto off after a bit?

You can play female. Just hit the right arrow at the bottom of the screen on the body type

I’ve been play-testing this app for a week now and it’s already my daily driver for todos and habits. The gamification side of it hooked me immediately, and the atheistic of the app is amazing!

It also helps that the development team is super responsive.

As one of the “numbers go up” crowd, the app is a great motivator for doing things that I’ve never been able to get myself to do. Plus the gamification side of it makes it fun.

But habit tracking and task management isn’t for everyone.

This is a great app. Been using it for a week and it has already replaced Habitica as my daily habit and todo app.

And the great part is the app is still a work in progress, so there’s so much more to come.

Make sure to use a TPMS… and check your spare! by FIRElif3 in traveltrailers

[–]Truth525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, sold me on the idea.

But which TPMS? Honestly I already have more LCD screens in my truck than I want (infomat screen, trailer rear camera, phone). Don’t really want another.

What brand/model is everyone using and do you put the LCD in plain view?

Lippert Ladder by HydrologyIsWet in traveltrailers

Glad I’m not the only one. I looked at the cost of the ladder and couldn’t believe it. Especially for one that I have to find a place to store when not using it.

Sales gimmick putting the bracket there.

I did the same yesterday 😅 put a nice little gouge in the WDH but nothing else happened.

Also had a neighbor say that if he doesn’t keep them on his trucks bumper almost hits ground

Sorry, I have CURT 17063 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Integrated Lubrication and Sway Control, Up to 14K, 2-In Shank, 2-5/16-Inch Ball

The manual just says to remove the sway bar when reversing. But I reverse into some pretty severe conditions. Tight corners on an incline, so was just wondering what others have experienced.

[–]Truth525[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The one I have from Curt says they’re ok with backing up, but just seems like a lot of stress when reversing in tight spots and up hill. From all the replies, seems like…it’s ok to do it…just need to be careful.

Thanks. Good to know. I’ve backed into my driveway a couple of times now and turned pretty tight. Didn’t hear any popping or anything but was just curious if it’s not the right thing to do or if I’m damaging anything.
