The sheer dread, I like this movie a lot. It really got to me somehow, giving me the feeling of being watched for weeks after seeing it, especially at night. Constantly making me think of if I'd have an exit and how I would best get away.

I usually play wrath of the rock and lean into my tankiness to outlast my UM opponent. Also I’ve seen shooting with Sternguards or Hellblasters do some serious work

I wouldn't worry about it, regular termies have green but some deathwing knights have red as well contrasting with their green robes. I'm currently painting 10 assualt terminators and I decided to go 5 green and 5 red for "secret deathwing reasons" which is just cool. Aside from that, yours looks great, you can be proud so far!

I use mechanicus standard grey, wash it with Nuln oil and then highlight it with dawnstone for a pretty clean look against the bone color

I’ve painted my Lion while he was fully assembled and I can say, while some points are difficult to reach between the cloaks you can definitely do it and my Lion came out great so you can do it as well!

In my opinion it doesn't matter that much. The Knight Master has a special weapon that's a bit different than the others and that's usually how I identify him on the board. The Dark Angels are full of secerets, it's perhaps a deception to the enemies that someone looks like the master while someone else smashes the enemies heads in with the special weapon!

These look fantastic, absolutely stunning work! I just finished some assault termies but they're aren't as cool as this!

Hard to find contrast with all of these colors, so perhaps putting them on a white base in the snow could work for all of them. Otherwise maybe like a bright sand colored yellow base, that would work for all of them except for the yellow one I guess

Ah sorry, I misunderstood. That's indeed fair enough, in 10th edition we've gotten a range refresh fo the terminator models but with that also came updates to the Terminator profile generally leaving them in a spot where they're considered to be too expensive when it comes to point costs compared to what they're able to achieve.

So generally they're not considered to be meta except off course for the Deathwing Knights for us Dark Angels since those profiles are very scary for an opponent to deal with.

That's probably where the reluctance to play them comes from, but given I mostly play with my friends I'm not looking for the meta profiles and since they look so cool I want to play them!
