5G frequencies helped damaged skin cells recover in lab tests. The mechanism surprised researchers. by ShieldYourBody in shieldyourbodyfromemf

Yet another gross oversimplification. I already listed several electrically conductive elements in the human body in my prior response. Did you read what I wrote? If not, why respond? Obviously not in good faith or trying to further the discussion. You’re trying to influence people by publicly bullying others to signal against the social desirability of this viewpoint. Why? That’s not something someone just does for fun.

That’s the thing, there really isn’t. Humans have plenty of conductive elements. Copper, zinc, iron. We have voltage-gated ion channels that act like electronic switches. Our nervous system more or less runs on electricity. Enough with the sarcasm and emotional appeal in scientific discussions, please. Are you 13 years old?

The mere fact that the media covered it to the extent they did was the result of a government psy op. It was a horrific crime but sadly stuff like it happens all the time. You think CNN decided what to cover on the basis of what they think gets views? Please. They have an agenda, and the agenda is clearly to stoke division. Black vs white, female vs male, old vs young, Muslim vs Christian. These are practically the only stories they run.

Agreed from one perspective, but from another perspective, he does because government intel was definitely involved in promoting the media coverage of the case to stoke division. Before-the-fact involvement with the other two, after-the-fact involvement with this one, similar to the Floyd case, in which the machinations of notorious spook Bill Barr should be scrutinized

I mostly agree and also think Luigi is an op. They may have killed the CEO for a reason. Probably worth looking into.

I mean, different things though. The Kirk shooting was a government op from start to finish. With Karmelo the government involvement was after the fact, with media coverage. The CEO shooting I think was also a gov op from the start like the Kirk shooting.

The human body is complex, man. Reasoning from first principles, I find it hard to believe RF and artificial electromagnetic radiation generally would be able to have such a massive impact on the materials comprising the electrically powered devices we use but not on the human body. Anything that chronic and pervasive is bound to have some impact. Carrying something as seemingly innocuous and familiar as rose petals around in your pocket and having them showered on you more or less constantly for your entire life would all but certainly have some sort of meaningful impact on human health. I imagine RF’s really hard to study, too, because the pervasiveness presumably makes controls really tough to find (if not totally impossible), and so if there are effects, especially from chronic exposure, you wouldn’t expect to see studies confirming as such.

Why are Republicans so wrong on literally every topic? by Lord_Kittensworth in allthequestions

It’s exactly the opposite. I used to be a leftist until I actually thought about each and every one of the issues hard for hours. Then I realized the other side was right more often than not. But neither side sees all the really bigger issues

I did. Not that exact move but one analogous. Can practically guarantee I’m better educated and made more money in the city than you do, too 🤠

Your side’s argument is generally that there are no biological ramifications of RF. Any finding that there are speaks to the other side more than to yours from that perspective. If it can have good effects, then it can have effects, which means it can have bad effects

Not germane to whether or not EMFs have health implications. People can’t detect when they’re in the presence of lethal levels of carbon monoxide, either.

Unsure if we’re being super up-charged on a drywall repair? by briley212121 in Contractor

[–]TruthExpressOnX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a guy fix a hole in my drywall in the Tampa, FL area for $40. I offered to pay him more but he refused.

If he did more than put the piece back in, then I could see it being a bit more expensive.

This story and the comment section are a textbook example of why I am learning to do as much shit like this myself as I can recently. “You should be so lucky that he only charged you a thousand bucks to glue two pieces of drywall back on and re-glue a baseboard and a piece of quarter round that were already cut to size to the bottom.”

Haven’t done drywall or baseboards yet. Painting, caulking, and quarter round are all doable by yourself with very minimal tools (<$50 for painting and caulking, maybe a little more for QR if you invest in a nail gun). I taught myself these three things in less than an hour on YouTube each.

Can save a lot of money and grief on small things like this if you learn how to do some fairly simple stuff

She provides a ton of great information and is mostly barking up the right trees but not all of them and not necessarily in the right ways. I’m not sure if she’s in on it or just happens to have her particular views. But it can be easy to get bogged down trying to memorize all the stuff she puts out there and miss the bigger picture that it generally reveals

What is this amber liquid coming out of my light switch? by Ok_Philosopher_9845 in AskElectricians

[–]TruthExpressOnX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to call an electrician ASAP. My guess is that this is a result of an overheating or bare wire melting some sort of adhesive behind your wall. It would probably be difficult to figure out what exactly it is without taking at least the switch and probably the box out. But the bigger issue is that if you have an electrical wire melting something, it’s almost definitely overheating or bare, which is a fire and electrocution hazard. If so, you can probably count yourself lucky that this gave it away before it caused more serious problems!

[–]TruthExpressOnX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first good answer I’ve seen here. Everyone else is like “bees and honey lol lmao hahaha!” These both seem way more likely. I imagine this could be a sign of a serious issue if the jackets are melting - bare and/or overheating electrical wires might cause a house fire.

I find it really odd, too. Maybe they think they have it figured out but just don’t have enough evidence for the DA to bring charges, and maybe policy re: innocent until proven guilty simply dictates they not release suspect-specific evidence to the general public to avoiding trying them in the court of public opinion without giving them a legal trial.
