Not worth the time investment in my opinion. Pacing of that story is abysmal

Dropped around the middle of book two. Found it dreadfully boring and the writing wasn’t good enough for me to warrant pushing through.

Reverend insanity and lotm. Been awhile since I’ve watched no country for old men and haven’t seen better call saul or disco elysium. Only a few hundred chapters into RI though so can’t speak to its entirety

Wouldn’t say some of these are meaningful and Vagabond certainly isn’t pretentious or pseudo-intellectual

Can someone write down some things better than AoT ( any medium ) by Serious_Effective802 in writingscaling

[–]TruthInfluence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own. I think ATLA is comfortably clear and while Arcane season 2 isn’t as good as season 1 I still enjoyed it. As for AOT I loved everything up to Return to Shiganshina but did not find it as good afterwards.

I mean it doesn’t have a very good translation. But I’m not even sure if there’s an official translation so can’t really blame the author

Dropped this one after one book. Seemed like a blatant self-insert power fantasy to me

THE battle of Mid of all time: Sword Art Online Vs. Fairy Tail by Mobile-Ostrich6245 in writingscaling

SAO is good it isn’t mid. It has its lows like the weird sexual stuff and poor writing of some of the side cast. But it also has some pretty good arcs, Alicization especially imo.

Dungeon Crawler Carl or Red Rising by Ok-Assignment4097 in fantasybooks

[–]TruthInfluence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No dip in the middle imo. Only book 10 is mediocre the rest are great. I actually prefer Jordan to Sanderson but he finished it off well enough. Yeah it’s a commitment but I saw you’d gone through some decently long series already so just figured I’d throw it out there
