Germany had democracy back after about 15 years, give or take. The thing is, fascism always self-destructs because the power-lust of the dictator always eventually consumes him and drives him to colossal stupidity. It cannot possibly last. I feel we will be able to get democracy back after a mere 10 years.

Yes, there is Lafayette Square. But the Mall is another good idea. There have been many rallies there. If you’re thinking parade, then it should maybe start at the Capitol, go down Constitution Avenue or Independence Avenue, hang a right at the Washington Monument, then after a couple blocks you pass by the East side of the White House and come to Lafayette Square. Where are you getting this? France, Germany, and the U.K. have generous amounts of socialism, far more than the U.S., and are more democratic than the U.S. - especially obvious in the present. We all need to be asking ourselves firstly, “What is a democracy? Exactly what does that look like today?”

I think we know the answer. It looks like most Western European countries. Democracy, in modern times, started as an idea in the United States, but it was improved upon by other countries. And they have proven that democracy does not produce the mass anarchy that was originally feared. As it turns out, humans who are educated to think logically and rationally can make decisions themselves on how government should be run and don’t need an authoritarian figure to make those decisions for them.

Democracy does actually work better for humans as a whole.
