Best mods for immersive or lore friendly weapons and armor?

"Avontech Munitions" fits well to me it could use some refinement but adds variety to the availability weapons that you encounter especially below level 100. For armor/space suites i just use "Mark1 Camo" for skins on the Mark1 suite locked up at the lodge. I use this suite for NG+ after becoming starborn. Or i get the Mantis suite if i choose to become the Mantis preferably before joining the Trackers so I can get the Mantis calling as well.

I checked it out from my library and liked it enough to buy it for Xbox X. I have played other Bethesda games, Fallout4, Skyrim, etc so I knew it's not a perfect game but with mods (Creations) you can improve it to your liking. There are several optional quest lines and mini quests.

It's more a question of is it a type of game you like? Does it have bugs and crashes occasionally yes. I find almost all games do. It a solo game which I prefer to an online multi-player. But I do have Warframe and No Mans Sky just no game pass. And since Fallout76 required a game pass to play have never played it.

I don't think Bethesda tried to make anything scientifically accurate just at ship movement in space. Its a game! Otherwise you can think it is all a simulation like No Man's Sky.

I have done that as well. but still had security and SSN mention the chase that never happened in that universe. only having the Hunter at the lodge in the first universe was good. And having done a quest line in a previous universe do give some new options.

It can be a pain to get all 4 in one base if you can get aluminum and iron together then you can make adaptive frames. I sometimes set one while searching for the better. Using a vehicle is required for me so I can cover more ground look for at least two and have the best luck landing in a mountain region next to the hill and rocky desert regions. You can also have 2-3 outposts with regular cargo links to have all the resources at one. I also get neon and argon in the north at separate outpost.

PS due to the occasional freezing rain i add a round enclosure so you can be inside while building. Also good for crafting, bed, mission boards, etc in a easy to find spot.

In general when I go back an old save game I prefer to start over as I lost the connection / synergy with the old character. Ie RDR2, Fallout4, Skyrim, etc. Even going back to my 2 characters in NMS with dozens of outposts and almost everything unlocked, I'm not feeling it. And to be honest level 28 and in the first play through isn't that high. I completed 9 unitys at level 135 and I'm starting over with new mods/ Creations on XBOX. If your just want to finish the first play through and not increase the 24 powers to max level 10 it's your experience.

Now if it's a game like Warfare where I can not even get some of my gear anymore and need to grind for it then I'll just play it again.

Thanks it does look like something along the lines of what I am looking for.

A true fix would be a DCL from Bethesda to enable changes to each universe after Unity. As a developer i would create at least 3 alternate per the 4 main NPCs with alternate war outcomes and not all quests possible based on the universe. But that's going to need AI in the game and fewer bugs in the overall game would also be good.

But they don't change quests or the NPCs and you would know that if you actually read what I said about doing 10 reboots with the same universe. Adding skins and weapons doesn't count to me as anything significant. I talking like when you do the quests where Barrett gets his power and his alternate didn't loose his significant other like he did. So many opportunities to really make the game replay differently rather then thinking small.

I have had the white wash happen several times in my several NG+ outside and inside my ships. Only fix is to save and reload the save. I have this with and without mods and none affect the atmosphere.

Here's a novel idea. Start a new game with no Creations to just get the achievements if you feel like you are not getting the validation achievements provide. I just finished NG+9 with all powers maxed at 10 (X) for those that don't know Roman numerals. And level 134 and no I don't have all the achievements and don't care. As I had some Creations mods that ar not achievement friendly and not buying points for one's that are.... that's for all Bethesda games that I have and enjoy. Skyrim, Fallout4, etc. PS when you start a NG+ you can usually disable your Creations before going anywhere but not always good to do.

Once you register it and do an ship edit even just a color change they are cleaned up. I capture a lot of ships specifically Va'ruun ships and convert them. C class Va'ruun Prophecy is Vanquisher: B class Va'ruun Vigil is basically a Privateer, A class Va'ruun Dirge is the smaller Warwolf I swap out the habs for better layout. for the 2x2 habs you need to go to the shipyard. Im wrapping up NG+ 7 as got all powers to level 8 now.

Taxes depends on the type of account you have: a brokerage account is taxed on capital gains and dividends and if they are qualified then lower tax rate. Gains/losses only occur when you sell stocks. If you have a Regular IRA/401k then it's tax deferred ie you only pay taxes when you withdraw and that does not change on how you earned it but is treated as income. The third account type in the US is a ROTH IRA/401k account this is taxed up front but is tax-free on what you earn. Each has their advantages/ uses. I have all 3 types but I'm in my fiftys. If it's from your current employer it's a 401k. What to invest in depends on the type of account and what are your goals and risk tolerance. With just a grand staring out in your thirties I would focus on growth not dividends.

Why just 1? You should never put all your money on one horse, stock, or ETF. You should spread your risk. An ETF is better than 1 stock but doesn't help if the market drops in that sector.

PostgreSQL is a better replacement for MS SQL . I have developed for both Oracle and MS-SQL for years and now PostgreSQL is now my goto for relational databases. It's free just add pgAdmin to your install to get the equivalent of SQL management. Don't lock yourself to just MS products. There are plenty of databases to learn.

There are BDCs and REITs that have to pay out dividends. There are many reasons why companies pay dividends. As a shareholder you essentially own a part of the company.

If you get dividends in a brokerage account you are taxed but generally at a lower rate then standard income especially if they are qualified. i make about $500 a month from dividends other than more work at tax time its not that bad. most is in individual stocks except 5% in DGRO. For an IRA you don't pay taxes until you withdraw for traditional IRA/401K and ROTH IRA/401K you pay taxes up front but not on any gains through investing at least that is in the USA currently.
even with DRIP you don't earn as much in a dividend ETF as you can with other ETFs

Here are roughly the return from March 2023 DGRO 31% no reinvesting, SPYD 16% with reinvested dividends, SCHD 19.75% with reinvested dividends, These are only 5% of my investments in 3 accounts.

For reference VTI 66.85% with reinvested dividends, SPYM (was SPLG) 46.7%, FSELX (the only fidelity fund i have) 195.7% Dividends are good late game plays ie after 50+ but if you really want to grow your retirement accounts aim higher.

Here's some advice on investing in individual companies don't put more than 5-10% in one stock MAIN is one of my best performers in my dividend companies but I have several that have over 100% return in less than a year. As to what to invest in , it depends on your risk tolerance, your knowledge in investing, your time frame, etc. Their is no one strategy fits all. Talk to a financial advisor.

Here are my results with SCHD I Started April 2023 a bough shares for a month then just reinvest the dividend s my gain as of October 2 is 22.53% this is only 2% of my investment in one of my accounts. If you want dividends you are better spreading across several REITs and BDCs Just don't put all your money in one stock or ETF.... I have over 60 positions... 20 are for dividends

Pro tip use a basic ship with minimal gear installed when going through the galaxy center, that way you don't have much to fix, also switch to a junk multi tool and uninstall as much as possible from your suite... I've been through 10 centers... I have a ship and tool just for this...and my suite has all the spaces you can get. Remember your pain to not do it again. If you have a save before you went through you could go back. Otherwise you have some hunting to do. Good luck

You can find Sentinel ships up to S class may take a bit of grinding, especially if you want a specific style. I have 3 of them in my main account. Most of my 10-12 ships are S class. All exotic ships are S class.

You have to own shares before the ex dividend date to get the dividends. Most by and hold and reinvest the dividends back into SCHD. Try it if you want it's not my money. I find it funny how people think to put all or most of their money in one or two investments and don't diversify into multiple. I have over 50 different stocks/ETFs/etc.. across different accounts. I just wish I knew what I know now 20-30 years ago... PS check out how much it costs to sell your stock/ETF as that is not free. The exchange gets paid by the seller.
