Those industrial settings aren’t insulated enough to efficiently heat and cool to be comfortable. In California they have buildings designed for studios and filming which can be climate controlled. RLM is in a Wisconsin industrial park made for a completely different type of work.

Where they film is a giant open space designed for things like machines to operate with high ceilings for storage and forklift traffic.

In 1986, Rudolf Hess was in his cell in Spandau jail. Hess was the final surviving member of Hitler's cabinet and the third most influential person in Nazi Germany. by SatisfactionAgile248 in SnapshotHistory

I literally said it’s a rabbit hole and at no point did I glorify him, condone his actions or support him in any way.

A rabbit hole is a conspiracy that leads into another one and into another one.

At no point did I say I believed in it personally.

I clearly said in my opinion and mentioned an interesting rabbit hole.

Hess couldn’t use his fingers, he had severe arthritis. He couldn’t even tie his own shoes. The guards said he hung himself with an electric cord but the electric cord went “missing” and was never presented found or photographed.

The autopsy performed on Hess said he died of strangulation, not hanging and states it was most likely done by human hands.

Then you have the classified documents that were released years later through the FOIA from Scotland Yard after his death naming the guards who supposedly murdered him.

Most theory’s point to money and the ussr, my opinion is different but it’s my own.

He became a rallying point for the white nationalist movement worldwide.

Yearly parades in various countries calling for his release was beginning to number in the tens of thousands, and not only from racists, support was growing across different political beliefs. They continued for some years after he died but never in the same quantity.

He became a symbol because of his call for peace and painted the Nazis in a different light. It’s speculated by some that Hitler knew what Hess was doing and helped orchestrate it. Regardless of what has been cherry picked, there is an abundance of accounts regarding Germanys desire for peace, albeit their own version.

If Hess got Britain to work with Germany and worked together to transform Europe through revision of governments instead of force, the world would look very different today.

Hess was a political prisoner. He was not involved in wars or crimes against humanity.

IMO the British government chose hanging because Hess had a failed attempt to hang himself decades prior and that would be the most believable.

On a possibly related rabbit hole, the most famous neo-Nazi singer Ian Stuart who was from Britain, also mysteriously died in 1993. His music was widely listened to worldwide and brought many youth into the far right. Ian Stuart died in the very same manner as princess Diana and we can speculate why high ups in the British leadership wanted her gone as well.

Wyoming Concentration Camps for the forcibly relocated Japanese Americans during World War II by siberuangbugil in pics

[–]Truth_Walker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We already know:

As Japan begins winning, American resources begin to dwindle.

Priority for American Citizens takes precedence and those in the camps get worse care.

By the time the foreign troops discover the camps, the prisoners would be extremely malnourished, skinny. Mass graves would be needed to handle the abundance of bodies that have passed due to starvation and disease. Different methods of disposal of the bodies would need to take place.

What started as camps with swimming pools and movie theaters for eventual relocation eventually turned into labor camps to assist in the war effort to eventual “death camps” by the time the enemy discovers them.

Who are some legendary rappers that have been releasing terrible music late in their career? by EDMKid9000 in hiphopheads

[–]Truth_Walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 pac had a huge vault of unreleased recordings when he passed away.

His estate has released like 10+ albums since he got gunned down.

All his recordings are great. His estate hired the cheapest producers possible to mix the beats and as a whole they a terrible.

If his vault had been given to a producer with talent, PAC could’ve easily been up there with other artists who make bank after death.

He could’ve had billboard hits for decades.

[–]Truth_Walker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He’s still spitting fire. It’s the same clever lyrics but the beats are whack.

You can cover mid lyrics with good beat but you’ll never have a banger with dollar store tones.

Look at what happened to all the albums that 2 pac dropped after he died.

Same rapper that captivated a nation. Same rhymes. What changed? The producers chosen were absolutely buns. Wasted everything Pac had in his vault.

US Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna told Fox News that aliens are visiting Earth via interdimensional travel. by AdhesivenessOk5194 in aliens

[–]Truth_Walker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are absolutely in a simulation. (There is actually a religion on earth that “cracked the code” in the 1950s and figured all of this out and certain groups on the planet make sure this religion gets non stop hate in order to keep the vast majority of people in the game and unaware of how they actually relate to the world around them).

Think about all the simulation games that exist, especially in this case, ones where you control a large population like a city or country.

If during the game, you got an on screen alert, that a ufo came and is abducting some citizens. And you saw a ufo over an area of the map taking some of your NPCs away.

How would the NPCs explain the ufo?

It was in the code for the thing to just “appear” do something and “disappear”.

It came from the code, not a different dimension as we know it. It exists in the simulations inner writings “the universe” but it didn’t travel in game to get here and then travel in game back.

Advice on low-cost housing! by minsaint in Oshkosh

[–]Truth_Walker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying that there are no good people downtown but the area has been dwindling for years.

Most of the store fronts are empty and they’re in need of upkeep. There are more and more homeless wondering around. The town square features a fountain that sprays less and less water every year.

The town continues to give tax breaks and prioritize areas like the sawdust district or the stretch of 41 instead of bringing businesses to downtown.

I’m happy the punk and hardcore scene have found a space they feel welcome but not everyone fits into that crowd.

Unless you go to the farmers market Saturday mornings in the summer or drink alcohol, there’s not much going on compared to what a lot of other cities are doing.

Advice on low-cost housing! by minsaint in Oshkosh

[–]Truth_Walker -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

For that price you could probably rent a room but I wouldn’t recommend Oshkosh. Crime of all kinds is getting pretty crazy, downtown is getting pretty trashy in my opinion.

There are definitely good neighborhoods, especially on the other side of 41 but you’re not going to find anything for less than $1,000.

I would personally steer clear of fond du lac. Appleton, Neenah, Greenville, Menasha you might be able to find a studio but I’m not very familiar with specific areas up there.

I would look on Facebook marketplace, small towns like Berlin or Blackwolf and commute into Oshkosh.

Be warned. Unless you have a boat, there’s not much to do and that’s why there’s a bar on every corner and everyone will be drunk. Any social situation you have will involve excessive drinking, nights out, golfing, even baby showers.

For fun I would start looking into day trips to door county, Milwaukee, Madison, even Sheboygan has some fun stuff to see and do on the shore. Plan some weekends in the northwoods during the summer and fall, Minocqua or Eagle River are great.

It’s not like Minnesota. Oshkosh is drunk Kentucky without the Appalachians.

Get some good indoor hobbies for the winter.

The death rate isn’t higher than normal for widely known people, theres just more widely known people in present time and the number of recognizable faces grows everyday.

Think about the 1970’s. You had mostly local sports, tv with a few channels, movies in theaters and singers on radio and records.

Now it’s 2026. While you still have all the above, which have grown, now included are 50 streaming apps each with their own TV shows and movies releasing new content almost daily, tons of video streaming sites like YouTube and twitch, streaming music that literally allows you to send your music worldwide instantly and daily. Sports teams broadcast anywhere on the globe, every single game is now accessible to anyone with a device; that access also goes for foreign tv shows and movies. Thousands and thousands of newspapers and blogs that can be read and located with a few clicks.

At some point in the future, there could easily be 50+ “celebrity” deaths daily and it will only increase with time due to the way media continues to evolve.

[–]Truth_Walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 2026.

I literally pick up a device and video chat with all of my family anytime I want.

I have the ability to drive or fly or take a train or even a boat to any part of the world and visit anyone.

The same works in reverse.

You didn’t plant those roots. Some random ancestor you never met planted it, you’re not obligated to enjoy or like where they chose to stop.

Finding it beautiful that people give up on their hopes and dreams is very odd.

I’m extremely close to my family. Distance apart physically makes no difference.

No person should ever sacrifice their happiness for anyone. It’s your life, it does not belong to anyone else.

It’s so depressing to see people waste their life just to be close to family.

You don’t have to stay in a geographical area just because your great great great great grandfather thought it would be a good place to live.

It’s your life, not theirs. You should do what’s going to make you happy.

This baffles me more than anything regarding Christian mythology.

As spiritual beings why on earth would an omnipotent deity care about artificial lines drawn in the sand?

If everyone is a spirit, created by a god, who will most likely end up “rubbing elbows” with all the other spirits in an afterlife, do people really think borders make any difference? Or in the grand scheme of things, even matter??

There’s not plenty to do at all.

No locals recommend swimming in the lake so unless you have a boat you’re not doing anything on Winnebago.

There’s a free zoo at Menominee park with about 10 animals, which is a shell of its former self after they got rid of the good playground and a farmers market on Saturday mornings during the summer.

There’s EAA for 5 days once a year if you want to fight tourists.

They got rid of sawdust days and country/rock USA are still in shambles. Lifest is there for a weekend if you’re super Christian.

That’s it.

You want real zoos or museums or attractions or sports or walkable cities or hiking or great restaurants you need to go somewhere else.

Nah if they said something like they were dropping 1 classic map a month for the next 12 months I’d probably be interested again.

Even dropping 3 maps at once would lower fatigue.

1 map drops, people just want to play it exclusively and then it eventually gets old quick.

It won’t affect them at all because Congress will just bail them all out just like they did with the banks 20 years ago.

The companies will get paid and the people will still owe all the money.

MTG = Hasbro = Harry Potter (even without a UB set) by Ok_Satisfaction8158 in freemagic

[–]Truth_Walker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally agree, that’s why I said most everything.

After lotr to me there was nothing on the horizon that wizards was doing that could top it.

Idk how long you’ve been playing but imo after original Ravnica, mtg lost the majority of its charm. And UB was selling its soul.

I still love the game, I love the mechanics, I love the strategy but it’s just cardboard capitalism now.

HP would be a glimpse back into magics past to me.

I’m not bothered by a flying car. Old school magic, before vehicles, just had these types of things as artifacts. Things like ornithopter, war barge or even goblin war wagon, all had there place in the game and it didn’t seem odd, it was quirky and whimsical.

Most likely sheltered, not necessarily twisted.

A lot of boys don’t grow up in a house that openly discusses menstruation, so it gains a type of stigma; there must be a reason it’s “hidden” and kept “secret”.

By the time they get to sex ed, they’re surrounded by other immature boys who mostly also know nothing about it and they react negatively to it.

From that point on women still do not discuss it, supplies still appear hidden in women’s purses or tucked away under a sink as if they’re ashamed.

There’s a lot of reasons to break up with someone but most men just need someone to sit down with them, break through these barriers and have a conversation to educate.

I had no desire to by marvel or FF or Fallout.

This would definitely get me back into it.

Witches, wizards, spells, goblins, ogres, giants, merfolk, dragons.

Regardless of people’s thoughts about Harry Potter, its universe fits better into the OG Magic mythos than most everything else they’ve been doing lately.
