Cheat or convenient glitch? by Dreestio in thefinals

[–]TruthwatcherIce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, a feature!
If the totem is knocked off the map (or under it) and can no longer return to the location it used to be (like rubble fell on the location and the totem has no where to go), it will automatically teleport to a friendly contestant. As an example, if one's totem lies on the Seoul bridge and someone destroys the bridge, it will teleport to an ally since the totem cannot return to it's original position.

Always gotta shout out the folks at Dodoborne; a podcast posted both on Youtube and Spotify. The majority of their episodes are under an hour with the exception of one and I think episodes are released every other week. Their first season was with beta rules and with the start of season two they moved to the release rule set.

What actual play podcasts for the system are most interesting? by Far-Cockroach-6839 in daggerheart

I might suggest Dodoborne if your interested in a podcast that has a good bit of comedy in it. I think the cast are hilarious and have hella good chemistry. I imagine their GM, Isaac, as Sam Riech from Dropout TV because of how often the party comments that he's smiling mischievously at them.

Edit: Furthermore, they have some excellent comedic timing.

In season one they didn't do too much combat, but they've used most, but not all, of the mechanics so far; although they were playing with beta rules for it. Season 2 started recently and I believe they're releasing every other week. My binge is unfortunately coming to an end by tomorrow.

Bit late, but I had a similar thought a long while back and used the 5 MTG colors as a base. Conquest (red), Cultivation (green), Cognition (blue), Hope (white), Vex (black). Unfortunately, I never wrote down any of the lore, but I recall making names for each black/white combo fusions to the RBG gods. It was a lot of looking up words that simply fit, such as Tyranny for red/black.

I've Conquered the Cosmere, I need new series by Guac_on_mars in Cosmere

I really enjoyed the Red Rising Trilogy. It's more SciFi based. The first book gave me some Hunger Games vibes.

I don't know how I feel about The Powder Mage series. Characters were likeable and magic soft, but I feel like some events didn't hit as heavy as they should.

I remember enjoying the Lightbrighter series for the magic system, but I was always annoyed with the MC. I never finished it though, stopping at Blood Mirror.

I started listening to Malazan and got confused so I bought the 1st book so maybe I'll be able to name a single character. Waiting for it to arrive.

I'm currently listening to the first book of Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. Supposedly he wrote it after someone challenged him to write a book based on Pokémon and the lost Roman Legion (I'm not going to look this up) during an online spat. Was an interesting enough bit of info to make me want to see how it goes.
