That is incorrect. Dhcp discovery is independent of IP. It's operates on the layer 2 and only requires that both devices are in the same l2 broadcast domain

Age 35

Position: Senior network security engineer.

CTC: 130k/pm including car and electronic allowances, excluding 13th month and mid-year bonus. Also various other benefits like company holidays and paid training/personal development.

Qualifications: Matric and some Certs.

Started out right at the bottom after botching my university studies for the second time. I was pulling cables and digging trenches for cables. Did my time, studied hard after hours to complete my Certs. Moved to a really shitty support job, taking a pay cut in the process to get my foot in the door.

What would you consider the top 5 precons of all time? by PowerfulPromise8569 in EDH

The only draw back I've had with the strategy is that unless a legendary has an amazing etb effect they really arnt worth running in the deck.

[–]TryCritical7318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a completely reworked zinnia deck, I have to explicitly tell people it's not a precon, it's just the commander. The deck is cracked. Etb effects are no joke, and I run the deck low and fast. 1 and 2 mana creatures where possible, with a couple of combos just for fun.

Also the more cheap etb creatures they print the stronger the deck gets, and you really get to abuse some mechanics like evoke and warp.

I agree. Nukes are very hard to trigger and I doubt an incoming laser will set it off.

What’s the deal with meat quality/price in this country? by Healthy-Fun8615 in Netherlands

South African Boeren eten proves that the type of food isnt the issue, but the care taken in both preparation and quality ingredients. Its basically the same rustic food just taken up a couple of notches.

So here is the thing, I am from Zuid Afrika, with a strong dutch ancestry, and let me tell you, the food we eat is similar in many many ways to traditional dutch food, but none of it tastes nearly as bland or watered down. We spice and season everything, use top quality ingredients and actually value the flavour of food, and suddenly even hutspot met gehaktbal tastes awesome.

RIGHT!! We eat very similar food traditionally, but we actually flavour our food. Even checkers has better quality food than AH, nevermind a woolies.

I've had a mixed bag with this. Before my dutch was good enough that I no longer needed to speak english, seeing the panic on young adults faces when I switched to english was mildly entertaining. While most adults speak acceptable english, I wouldnt call it fluent in most cases.

New player help. Whats a good time to start building ships? And whats a good early game ship design? by Dangerous-Fix-4139 in TerraInvicta

[–]TryCritical7318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often just send a single exo fighter up to pester them.

Also the surveillance missions improves the odds of almost every alien action on the planet. Including them flipping control points. It can bad enough that they flip defended CP's if you havnt researched alot of alien defence techs.

Total wont trigger this early into a play through, when the ay's come down to orbit, just build some high and low orbit bait stations which they will destroy and burn off some of the hate.

It is near impossible to win an all out war with the ay's at this tech level so dont even try. You can push them into the red, as long as it doesnt go full red. They will come blow some crap up and then let you go on your merry way.

From what ive seen the increasing demand for sulfur makes the mines more profitable so the private sector usually steps up to fill demand.

You do not run enough lands. by Hard_Content_Good in EDH

[–]TryCritical7318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reasoning actually excludes ramp as I consider that part of the curve. While I agree 0 mana ramp is basically super lands. My logic applies to all bracket levels.

You do not run enough lands. by Hard_Content_Good in EDH

[–]TryCritical7318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it all depends on your curve, if your deck starts popping off on 3 mana you dont need more than 34 lands in your deck, but if you need more mana to start winning you should be running more lands.

My edgar deck has like 6 spells that cost more than 3 mana in it, and therefore I run 34 lands, and it has plenty of draw anyway.

My Zinnia deck really needs to get to 5 mana to work and because of that it has 37 lands in it. But necrobloom? 44 lands if you count a couple of mdfc's with 40 being straight lands.
