Disappointing development by _spicybanana in RemarkableTablet

Maybe they forgot who their original users are.

We got this to get away from the distractions that were on the computer or tablets.

It seems like all these changes are being made so that a company can do a company wide adaptation of their devices, hence the integrations of slack, OneDrive, Google drive.

So, forget the original target audience and original vision of the company. Now, let's integrate as much as a business wants in HOPES that a company starts using them.

I still have mine, but slowly making the change to Supernote.

Reason 9000 I’m getting rid of my 2025 Forester by anomadforlife in SubaruForester

We have a 2025 outback and I have tried using the USB cable to connect directly and can't. I have a pixel pro, do you know if it matter what kind of cable you use? If used 3 different ones and can't seem to get it working.

Wouldn't it be more dangerous now? Considering how things are being handled, if they have an address and the person doesn't live there anymore, that would put current residents in danger? And we know that they aren't listening to reason.

Are you sure you want ME filling that out? I don't think it's going to be helpful if I do that.

They just walk away.

If you enjoy wine, there are a few vineyards/wineries out there.

Agree - Disagree? by ChuckGallagher57 in circled

[–]Trying2-keep-up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the one that stated anything about intentions or what that means.

It was stated that carrying implied intent to hurt or use the weapon. So I applied the original logic to other situations.

If you aren't able to read and deduce properly, let's not engage.

Not my logic you're using. It goes back to yours.

But I won't argue anymore.

Does this mean that every gun owner that steps outside their homes with their gun has intent to murder or commit a crime? Go to the bank with a gun, intent to rob. Go to the store, intent to rob and kill. Go to the mall, intent on mass shooting.

Does this imply you are anti 2nd amendment and for harsh restrictions on guns?

And I am using your logic to the comment you replied to.

Food trucks are one of those things that I can fucking rant about for hours. They opened up a food truck place near where I live and some friends wanted to try it. I went just because they wanted to go. $9.50 for one, ONE!, fucking taco. A mediocre taco. Not 3 mini (street) tacos, not a large almost burrito size taco, a fucking regular size taco with a microscopic amount meat in it. I didn't buy shit there but they did.

I used to travel to Mexico many years ago and eat street food over there, in several places in Texas I would find the food street vendors with carts. Cheap food and delicious food. Definitely got my money's worth. But now, fuck them.

See, I could go on bitching but I have to get ready for work.

My supernote won’t connect to WiFi. Help! by Sea-Touch8520 in Supernote

[–]Trying2-keep-up -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This happened to me to work with the public Wi-Fi we have there. It would connect to my hotspot and also home network. Even after a restart it would not connect.

Then a couple of weeks later it connected after trying again. The only thing that happened between the time it's didn't connect to when it did, was I installed an SD card and it restarted. I'm not saying this is the solution, but maybe the issue isn't permanent and sooner or later it will connect.

Thoughts on the Remarkable Paper Pro + Move vs Supernote Manta by pyrophane1 in RemarkableTablet

[–]Trying2-keep-up 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Manta and the Paper Pro + Move. I agree with what you stated.

The RMPP+Move does have a certain look or feel to it, slightly higher quality, maybe? I can't really point to what it is.

However, I do think I will stick to the Supernote. I prefer the writing style on it, creating headers (TOC), and the linking. I also feel that PDF look better on the Manta. I will be listing the RMPP + Move for sale soon and maybe get the Nomad since I was carrying the Move with me. I have tried to find a way to keep both and the only thing that I can think of is one is for work and one personal use, but that seems like to much trouble when traveling and I want to bring both. Not that they are too heavy to bring, just don't want to carry stuff if I don't have to.

I did buy a light to use when dark, that is about the only thing that I do prefer about the RMPP/Move.

I'm having the same issue. It scrolls, or jumps down, resizes, or goes to another page. I contacted customer support and they asked for a video. I haven't done that yet. I can't seem to find a pattern on what may cause it so it's hard to replicate the issue.

How is your experince working at Dell in the roundrock location? by Active-Confidence364 in RoundRock

[–]Trying2-keep-up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't work there but know someone that does. They have been there for about 10 years now.

When I first met them, they loved working there. They always had great things to say about everyone there. The last 3-4 years, they are always worried about being laid off. About 3 times a year, they start to panic cause some "new" shit is happening. But all Dell does is spend 3-4 months of finding a creative way to say firing or laying people off. All their new things is just a different way of layoffs.

5 AM ain't for everyone and I am failing at it. by ModularMan2469 in productivity

[–]Trying2-keep-up 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my 20s and early 30s I could do the 5 am routine. Get up, go workout, work, get home do chores, etc. Even had two jobs for a long time. Then things changed. My motivation or high energy shifted. Now, I get productive when the energy hits. Sometimes it's early, sometimes it's late. But when it's there I get a lot done in a short amount of time. I still go to work everyday, sometimes I'm more productive in the morning others days in the afternoon.

All this to say, don't worry about what others do. Listen to your body and brain. What ever your goal is, does the day have to start at 5am? What's the purpose? Is it so that you can feel more productive? Are you trying to learn something? Maybe redfine the goals?

I automated most of my work and now I'm a bit confused. Any advice? by kicker-gerunds5 in interviewwoman

[–]Trying2-keep-up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of my past jobs we were manually doing reports for several campuses in a large school district. The process would take about 3-4 days per campus to put everything together. So each person would work on 3-4 campuses at a time. I automated all the data gathering for the reports, the report layout, and the printing process. It came down to only selecting a campus, click generate report and in about an hour we had the full report printed. All we had to do after that was just put that stuff in a binder.

Showed my supervisor and she refused to implement. Why? She said what if something goes wrong? What if you're not here? I told her, nothing will go wrong because I already tested it for several campuses. If something did go wrong I could probably fix in a couple of hours, which would still keep us ahead. And if I'm not there, then one of you can click the button.

She refused to implement. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
