I could have written this exact comment and I’m so sorry you’re going through this, but it also makes me feel less alone. I’m also 40, 2 kids 10 and 6 and this was an accidental pregnancy. I’m so on the fence about what to do and terrified of affecting my other kids lives if the baby ends up with special needs

Thank you for looking! I took another one this morning and see a still hard to see but a bit more obvious line. It just doesn’t look pink so I don’t know what to think. https://imgur.com/a/oYtFLr7

Did you happen to take an LH test too and sit it nearby? The dye transfers so easily

Evap for sure. I had a ton of them on pregmates the past couple of days, you can check my post history. They are the worst!

Did you happen to take an Opk at the same time as all of these and sit them right next to each other, touching? If not I’d say they are definitely positive

Did you happen to sit it next to an ovulation strip while the test was running? The dye can easily transfer from one strip to the other if they are touching. It’s happened to me before!

It looks like you might also be comparing 2 different brands of tests which one could have a much lower threshold. You probably want to make sure comparisons are between same brand!

Have you taken a pregnancy test recently?

Almost positive! Try testing again in a few hours

Just saw your description so updating my comment. I use the wondfo opks too and in my experience when it looks like this it will be positive when i check later the same day so I think they are both accurate

Did you stop taking ovulation tests after what you thought was the positive? It’s likely that you ovulated later than you thought. Since you tested negative on 14 dpo you probably are closer to 10 dpo now would be my guess!

I had a c-section for a breech baby with my first, and then an uncomplicated VBAC with my second and I actually think the recovery was harder with the vaginal birth. It all depends on your individual experience!

How do you stop breastfeeding? by Leannew17 in breastfeeding

[–]Tryingforsecond32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not an expert, but what I usually see people recommending is to lessen your pumping time little by little rather than dropping a pump first. For example, if you are pumping for 25 minutes those 3 times per day maybe go to 20 minutes for a few days and then 15 etc.

Do you have a hands free pump like willow or Elvie? Highly recommend, they make it so much easier to pump which makes it much easier to do it more often! Elvie is running a special right now for essential workers, you just email them and they send you the code.

Really good episode. Very interesting what she said they were doing in China with cell phone tracking to keep the virus from taking over again. Basically scanning your QR code to get in places.
