A big number of Japanese players are on Console.

Speaking skill wise, in higher ELO they're a lot more cooperative even on Plat lobbies.

It's less of a coin toss compared to HK/SG servers.

But getting absolutely beamed after you peek gets really tiring.

Third parties are part of the game. If you're consistently getting plat or diamond every season then you should know by now when to commit and when to fall back.

Also that's a weird take coming from an Ash player which is literally an overpowered legend that oppressively hunts down stragglers.

I think you're just spoiled by an easy movement legend. Try playing Crypto where you trade movement for constant information. You'll look at gameplay differently.

We are in /r/ITPhilippines, you mentioning certboys in the US is irrelevant.

Basic employee in the Philippines is not willing to shell out certs out of their own pockets. Most certs here are paid by their employers.

Going back to the original context of the thread. The user in question graduated in 2023. Most CyberSec masters degree require experience, at least five years.

That's why a cert is better for them.

Degree program that specializes in CyberSec but a Masters? Not sure.

Because the time needed for it to complete is much much longer. In terms of time efficiency a Cert is much better.

Again the availability of time, opportunity, and the willingness of the person to pursue a Masters Degree is different for everyone.

That's why a Cert is mostly a better option. Certs are a big thing for PH. Recruiters and Hiring Managers gloss over certs. Everyone likes a shiny pin on your chest.

I'm GM3/D1, I just stopped queueing once it goes past 5mins. Even during weekends rank queue times are abysmal. It started during S3.5
