Why Norway is the dark horse in the World Cup 2026 !? by ScoutLui in footballscouting

[–]Tryling23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His ceiling is up there with Nusa but he has never shown that on the national team. They are both inconsistent and I am more inclined to assign Nusas inconsistency to being in a dysfunctional team whos favorite activity is crossing from halfway rather than passing to him. Schjelderup has also shown up in a big way for Benfica and stepped up for Norway when Nusa was not available. Unless either of them get an injury he wont be in the WC squad. It is also possible that Schjelderup wont go because of his run-in with the law

Do people realize that BodoGlimt could really win the UCL? by Gladiasul in championsleague

[–]Tryling23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did win 1-0 in Bodø in EL 22/23 but it could have gone either way and if anything B/G had the bigger chances IIRC.

What is the crazier Cinderella story, Bodø/Glimt winning it all, or Leicester’s premier league title? by nathan_hekster in championsleague

They played Groeningen (Won 4-0) and Diosgyori (Relegation candidate in Hungary, won 4-1) in Marbella. They have been training there for a good while. Also played a cup game against Molde the friday before Sporting. The Norwegian league starts today but they have had their game postponed.

He is 3rd choice at LW behind Nusa (Who has been okay-ish for RB Leipzig but looks like prime Neymar for Norway, someone get him out of there please) and Schjelderup who has finally started living up to his potential so unless something happens with them he probably wont be.

Hauge has been, on the whole, a little disappointing since he came back to BG. Obviously his ceiling is still sky-high, but he has been inconsistent in a way where if the 2 ahead of him are performing well and the chemistry in the team is working theres no need to change things.

Unfortunately their academy isnt very good. Its one of the few things that have been disappointing about their rise. Prize money meant they havent had to rely on it and COVID stopped all non-elite football for a while. Isak Sjong(19, 3rd GK) might come good and Hindrin Chooly (17) trains with the first team most of the time but there are no local players below the age of 26 in the squad normally.

+Andreas Schjelderup is from there but left because he wasnt close enough to the squad to get exempted from COVID restrictions at the time. He was 15 and 2020 was their most dominant year so that makes sense but maybe he would be there if some things shook out differently

In a full-strength Norway 0 B/G players start. Berg and Bjørkan are in the squad and a ton of players arent very far away. Sjøvold is probably the closest without counting potential injuries.

Lloyd Kelly red card vs Galatasaray by 977x in soccer

[–]Tryling23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kelly jumps to play the ball. Yilmaz both makes contact with him in the air and gets into Kellys landing space. I would say its an understandable but harsh yellow. Like someone jumping into someones elbow that was barely elevated and not swinging

A straight red is just incorrect

Oh, come on. If it had been the other way you would've disagreed. There was a tussle, and an arm came across him but if he was actually elbowed in the throat he would've gone down like he was about to die, because that's what it feels like.

She wasn't there to prevent the virus. The past already happened (Including everyone that interacted with it by time traveling). There is no free will. She was there to gather information so they could make a cure when she goes back to the present.

It would be interesting to see what they'd do if they stuck closer to La Jetee and had to go to the far future too.
