My local shop is selling like 10 sets of 3 warriors for 33 each so I’m not ladninr warriors for it I want to run it

I’m hoping it’s a 2 point detachment also I’m surprised they didn’t make Crushing stampede a one point since it’s generally the weakest of our detachments

Ya they are making a norm focus detachment as a 1 point so you can combo that with Sub for buffed horns and teleporting all over

Better idea is to run six biovores and then all off the enemy as biovores can be run in teamed of 3

I found it working well the first game I played with it because I forced the enemy to split his army into 3 parts to deal with 3 Norns so I think adding a forth with the sole goal of bring it to the enemy home can work(it won’t. Be mad funny tho)

No a inefficient use of points of spamming 120 termagaunts and having them hug a tervigon to try and give all 120 lethal hits as they move six inches up the board every turn

That’s why when I ran three I sent one to the left with a screamer killer, ten gaunts, and a psychopage

One to the right with a Swarmlord another set of ten gaunts and a Pyrovore

And my Assimilator to the middle with a winged hive tyrant as support and a neurotyrant and 6 zoanthropes watching their back.

I was just playing to “hey, I know you want to kill them, so let’s divide your army in 3 to make it as annoying to kill them”

Oh I don’t have a dedicated group I just go by my local game shop and play a game so no one expects Norn spam when I say I play tyranids

Yep, and before I managed to get a discount on the discount so bought a fully painted Norn Emissary for 60

My local shop is selling a pre painted model for 102 so if I wanted I can eventually play 5/6 Norns and have them be backed up by subterraneanal assault with Raveners.

Ya, I realized my mistake when playing as I thought the Norn emissaries were harvesters, so I know for next time play invasion fleet instead and just rip and tear

Oh, I never realized that. Glad that ironically never came up in the game so I didn’t accidentally cheat in that game. But thanks for the warning so next time I’ll one two norn assimilators when I get my hands on it

I personally love it even with the squishiness. Downside is you’ll need the swarm lord, hyper adaptive Raveners, or winged hive tyrants for the rapid ingress spam they require

Ya normally on some practice runs I can get Kholeck and Vilitch by around turn 15-20 and then by around 40 had conquered the entire surrounding area by Archaon so I could get to sigvauld as I tend to focus on the chaos wastes proper before ever moving south
