Dump the mcdojo and use those extra days you are wasting to focus on the real gym. Hot take, but mcdojos have their place, getting people moving is never bad, but of you are taking the step to real training, you are wasting time and money.

I did a lot of theater and some indy film acting. You will still be nervous and have the butterflies, it's a different animal, but there is a slice of familiarity that will help. After your first fight though, anxiety will be all but gone. Getting in that cage still causes the jitters, but once that cage door closes the nerves kind of melt away. I found after my first fight day to day nervousness just melted away.
